Overview / Responsibilities

Wood is looking for a Project Control Manager, reporting to Project Director, to lead the Project Control Team in Milan (currently 3 people) for a major Mining Project in execution phase (Detailed design).

Indicative period of assignment > 1 year.

Business trips to Client premises (Uzbekistan) may be required.


Main Duties and responsibilities

  • Support Project Director for all Project Control activities
  • Interface with all Wood internal functions / departments
  • Represent the reference point for Client Project Control Manager
  • Coordinate and support Milan resident Project Control team (Planners and Cost Control)
  • Coordinate and support the Project Control Leaders assigned in affiliate offices (Johannesburg, Santiago, India)
  • Ensure completeness, consistency and homogeneity for the reports issued by affiliates
  • Participate to weekly / monthly meetings with Client, taking the lead on Project control aspects
  • Prepare/coordinate weekly / monthly reports issue to Client

Skills / Qualifications

  • Italian and English fluency
  • Excellent relational skills
  • Proactiveness and problem-solving attitude
  • Proven experience in detailed design works, preferably mining projects
  • Mandatory Oracle Primavera P6 ability
