Wood is currently recruiting for a Senior Technical Safety Engineer to join our team in Perth, Western Australia as part of its Operations APAC (West) business.
Wood delivers brownfields engineering, procurement, construction, optimisation and technical services to the Oil & Gas Industry. Wood enjoys long-term partnerships with some of the region’s most prominent Oil & Gas and LNG producers with operations in Western Australia and the Northern Territory.
Reporting directly to the Lead Technical Safety Engineer and working across FEED / Execution, your focus will be on performing formal safety assessment studies, support for risk-based decision-making, application of safety in design principles to the design/modification of petroleum production/processing facilities and compliance with safety regulations.

Suitably qualified with a Bachelor of Engineering degree from a recognised institution, ideally you will have relevant experience in safety engineering for petroleum production / processing facilities within Australia and preferably on brownfields projects.
You must be an Australian citizen OR hold Permanent Residency (PR) OR be able to work lawfully in Australia to be considered for this opportunity.
