Overview / Responsibilities

Wood is looking for a Business Developer for Milan office. The candidate will actively execute, in coordination with the other team members, tasks and projects related to renewable sources power generation projects and more in general in the energy transition field (BESS, green hydrogen).


Main responsibilities

  • Using computer modelling software to produce power / energy production estimates
  • Study the integration of the renewable energy produced with storage systems
  • Writing and presenting technical reports and basic project deliverables
  • Preparation of feasibility studies, design and permitting documents for authorization of energy and / or battery storage or green hydrogen projects
  • If required, carrying out site and ground condition inspections for new and existing sites
  • Liaising with TSO for grid connection procedure, subcontractors and other engineering and science professionals
  • Investigating market solutions related to renewable energy and BESS

Skills / Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in electrical / industrial / energy / environmental engineering
  • Flexibility, curiosity, strong team working attitude and proactivity as well as verbal and written communications skills
  • Excellent in Italian and English
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office tools
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD 2D and / or topographic and GIS applications
  • Good understanding of regulatory aspects in Italy
  • Good understanding of regulatory aspects in Italy for renewables, previous experience in wind/solar project development / Business Development is a plus
