We are seeking to recruit a Data Engineer to an exciting and challenging role, offering the opportunity to be part of a leading organisation. The work will be delivered within a small agile team of Engineers, Data Scientists, and Domain Experts.
We are looking for someone who can help our clients to optimise their asset maintenance through data mining and management, as well as automating data processing and creating bespoke visualisations and software solutions.
This role is based in either Glasgow or Southampton UK offices (including option of hybrid home working) although occasional travel may be necessary to visit other offices and clients.

Within Wood’s Asset Performance Optimisation business, the Vibration, Dynamics and Noise (VDN) team encompasses 200+ engineering specialists in 11 offices worldwide providing engineering solutions and services to the energy (conventional and renewables) utilities, and pharmaceutical industries. We service a varied client base worldwide, including World-class energy companies, utilities, power generation companies, pension funds, Technology Innovation and Research Centres – to name but a few. We provide value add services bespoke to the clients' requirements across, technical specialists, project management, owners engineering through all the phases of the project lifecycle.
