Wood is currently recruiting for a Senior HVAC Engineer with experience in the pharmaceutical industry to to join our Life Sciences division based in Basel, working on Pharmaceutical projects across Europe and internationally. 

The Role 

The Senior HVAC Engineer will provide detailed engineering support across HVAC systems on pharmaceutical projects working within a multi-disciplined team. 

The ideal candidate will have significant previous experience in HVAC engineering within pharmaceutical projects and will be fluent in both English and German. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparation of key project documents (design criteria, P&Id's, consumption list etc.) 
• Preparation of all the necessary deliverables to complete the design activities for the discipline
• Preparation of MR for equipment and erection works
• Constructor and vendor follow up
• Assistence to FAT and commissioning

Requirements: 

• MSc degree in Industrial or Mechanical engineering
• Previous experience as a HVAC Engineer within Pharmaceutical sector
• Self motivation, a proactive outlook and with good communication skills
• Ability to collaborate and work well within a multi discipline team
• Ability to work with technical strength but with the minimum of supervision
• Fluent in German and in English
• Eligible to work in Switzerland
