Overview / Responsibilities

Wood is currently sourcing for a Site Engineer to form part of our project team based in Broadmeadows.

 

Reporting to the Delivery lead, the ideal candidate would play a key role to manage the brownfield scopes of work at major pharmaceutical manufacturing facility.

 

Responsibilities 

  • Defining and developing business cases for client approval
  • Delivering multiple project scopes to budget and schedule requirements, while maintaining excellent safety and quality performance
  • Coordinating the production of GxP documentation and stewarding through approvals and execution
  • Overseeing the procurement, expediting and receipt of materials and equipment within Client system.
  • Overseeing and coordinating construction activities using Client permitting system
  • Change management through a recognised change management process
  • Liaising with engineering, operations and quality teams to ensure fit-for-purpose design, timely resolution of queries and compliance with GxP requirements
  • Attending meetings with client, implementation contractors and suppliers
  • Financial and schedule reporting for projects utilising client systems
  • Identifying key areas of risk for the project and developing appropriate mitigation strategies.

Skills / Qualifications

  • Background in Process, Mechanical and Electrical / Instrumentation is preferred
  • Experience as a Site Engineer with exposure across design, procurement, construction and qualification/commissioning activities within a pharmaceutical manufacturing facility.
  • Experience preparing GxP documentation and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Ability to work autonomously and deliver to deadlines
  • Proven capabilities in managing and motivating resources across engineering, operations and qualification/commissioning teams to deliver projects on schedule and budget
  • Effective communication and relationship-building skills
  • Sound understanding of project planning and cost control
