Overview / Responsibilities

Massy Wood Guyana is currently seeking expressions of interest for a potential project to be based at our Guyana Office.

 

This is an expression of interest only and is dependent on the successful award of the project by the Client. If successful following the tender phase, the project is expected to commence in 2021.

 

Applicants must have full work rights in Guyana to be eligible for this role.

 

  • Routine inspection of all related pressure systems and rotating equipment.
  • Testing of product quality to set specifications for sales, injection water, produced water, injection gas, potable and boiler feed water.
  • Monitor, control, and perform minor maintenance on operating systems.
  • Monitor and control of subsea wells, flowlines, and risers according to established procedures.
  • Maintain daily unit operating logbook for shift records.
  • Safe and efficient operations in accordance with established procedures and regulations.
  • Report all accidents, near misses and hazardous conditions.
  • Demonstrates that “no job is too routine or urgent that it cannot be done safely “.
  • Follow all control of work processes on a daily basis. (ie: permit to work, zero energy lockout)
  • Provide operational support to emergency teams during upset, and emergency conditions.
  • Perform all routine housekeeping duties in work area.

Skills / Qualifications

  • High School diploma
  • Working knowledge of process separation, compression, utility and power generation systems.
  • Familiar with computerized maintenance management systems.
  • Effective communication skills (written, oral and computer)
  • Ability and willingness to train/rotate through all operating areas and CCR.
  • Demonstrated leadership and teamwork behaviors consistent with Suncor values.
  • Familiar with quality processes and application of Continuous Improvement tools.
  • Ability to understand and react with diverse groups and operations.

An acceptable combination of academic qualifications and work experience may be considered in lieu of minimum requirements
