Overview / Responsibilities

Massy Wood Guyana is currently seeking expressions of interest for a potential project to be based at our Guyana Office.

 

This is an expression of interest only and is dependent on the successful award of the project by the Client. If successful following the tender phase, the project is expected to commence in 2021.

 

Applicants must have full work rights in Guyana to be eligible for this role.

 

The Cargo Supervisor will exhibit a high standard of leadership, supervisory and safety behaviours and will ensure that all aspects of Cargo and Cargo Utility systems operations and supervision are carried out effectively. Delegated tasks will be monitored and controlled formally and effectively

 

  • Prepare to Start and Start Cargo Operations.
  • Monitor and Maintain Marine Operations
  • Prepare and shutdown Marine Operations
  • Contribute to Tank Entry, Inspection and Maintenance Activities
  • Manage and Supervise Effectively
  • Contribute To Control Of Critical Situations And Respond To Emergencies
  • Monitor And Maintain Pollution Control Measures
  • Carry Out Emergency Response Role
  • Provide any additional duties as required by the OIM/Unit Spt and /or HOD to maintain safe and smooth running of the Unit.

Skills / Qualifications

  • 3 years VLCC experience as OOW (Officer on Watch) - Chief Officer experience desirable. 
  • Previous FPSO experience would be an advantage. 
  • Medically fit to offshore International  standards

An acceptable combination of academic qualifications and work experience may be considered in lieu of minimum requirements.
