Overview / Responsibilities


Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Challenge and contribute to the constructional aspects of project design to obtain the optimal technical and economic solution for the Projects.
  • Ensures compliance with project requirements, plan, budget and agreed functionality utilizing fit for purpose QA/QC systems. 
  • Carry out engineering estimation & materials take-Off (MTO), manpower loading and other related activities correlated in engineering works.
  • Outlined engineering solutions minimizing execution time offshore, optimizing construction sequence and work methodology.
  • Reviewed and commented multi discipline drawings leading to AFC
  • Mapped out and written hook-up and work procedures
  • Managed Project Interfaces, both internal and external interfaces
  • Liaised with Project Leads on all technical, commercial and safety aspect of the project
  • Implemented flawless project delivery elements into contract packages and monitored its execution
  • Produced cost estimates, work plans and project schedules
  • Defined norms for setting up job cards, man-hour estimates
  • Leveled resources histograms optimizing manpower, equipment and activities given project time schedule
  • Represents Company at Site for Fabrication Works
  • Stewarded fabrication contracts from award, execution to close-out
  • Managed day-to-day activities at the yard and site / offshore during fabrication, construction, hook-up & testing.
  • Formulated recovery plan for management when impacted by design changes, material / equipment delay and site / contractor issues
  • Demonstrated personal commitment to HSSE by example, implemented compliance and competency


Skills / Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Possesses a technical degree or with a minimum of 8 years oil and gas solid experience, of which 4 years has experience in translating engineering work packages to construction work packages for minor modifications work. Good knowledge of Permit to Work Systems, Job Hazard Analysis, Construction Sequence planning in an offshore and onshore plant setting.

  • Primary technical coordination focal point between CONTRACTOR, Vendors, and the COMPANY for assigned packaged equipment scopes to ensure that the equipment is delivered in line with the prescribed requirements. Constructability reviews, implementation strategy development, support to Execution schedule and SAP inputs.  Vendor management and support to fabrication activities.
