Overview / Responsibilities

Massy Wood Ltd. is currently seeking expressions of interest for the role of Electrical / Instrumentation / Controls Engineer for a potential project to be based in Trinidad.


This request is dependent on the award of the project by the Client. If successful, following the tender phase, the project is expected to commence in September 2020.


Interested persions should have a background in Petrochemical, ammonia processes & technology. 

  • Familiarity with loop drawings
  • Motors
  • Switchgears
  • Capabilities in TAR
  • Retrofitting buildings
  • Planning, scheduling, forecasting and field execution project in Petrochemical, ammonia processes & technology
  • Ability to read and understanding drawings
  • Adherence to HSSE & QA QC procedures.

Skills / Qualifications

  • First Degree in Electrical & Instrumentation Engineering (BSc, BEng).
  • Typically a minimum of 5-7years’ relevant experience.
  • Possesses basic appreciation of Electrical, Instrumentation & Controls software and tools.
  • Possesses basic appreciation of key Electrical, Instrumentation & Controls applications.
  • Possesses a reasonable command of the English language and must be able to communicate English effectively in the field of Engineering.
