Overview / Responsibilities

Wood is currently recruiting for HSSE Supervisor

  • Responsible for project construction fire, safety, health and environment during the construction and commissioning phase. Conduct Management Review on the project HSSE management system
  • Possess good judgement and ability to extract the related HSSE policies and procedures required for the site construction works
  • Fulfil the qualification, experience and competency required by local regulatory agency to act as the project HSSE representative programs during project execution
  • Able to establish an effective HSSE system in accordance to the legal and other requirements (ISO, Wood and Client)
  • Ensure that all construction contractors’ supervision and manpower are instructed in and comply with all aspects of the Company Health, Safety, Security and Environment (HSSE) policy, site regulations, permit to work procedures and instructions and Client requirements
  • Compile and submit monthly HSSE statistics and report
  • Ensure site personnel are qualified and competent for tasks set, and understand their HSSE responsibilities

Skills / Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in public health (Occupational Health and Safety) or Professional certificate of safety officer by Ministry of Labour
  • Minimum 8 years substantial experience in a HSSE role in Live Plant, Greenfield and Turnaround / Revamp work for Oil & Gas, Refinery, Petrochemical, Power Plant, Construction, or others similar type of plants
  • Has substantial level of skill and experience in applying worksite HSSE plans in regard to HSSE work practices and others HSSE procedures, standards requirement for worksite
  • Has MOST knowledge of Project Monthly and Weekly Construction Report content? Understands the need for timely, concise, and accurate reporting of HSE performance statistics
  • Good HSES awareness and commitment including skill and knowledge in preparation and review of Method Statement, Job Safety Analysis and Risk Assessment
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in English (verbal & written)
  • Good knowledge in Thai Law and Legislation related to HSSE
  • Good team leadership in technical, interpersonal and communication skill
