Overview / Responsibilities

Wood is currently seeking expression of interest for a Lead Electrical Engineer to work on a new project in Saudi for approximately 15 months. The ideal candidate will be at Principal or Lead level in their career with extensive experience within the industry in a similar role.

Project Summary

Our client is seeking to produce an additional crude oil from an existing field by 2027. There are no current offshore oil and water injection facilities to cater for this increment and the onshore processing facility has no available capacity. The project program will provide an expansion of current facilities to ultimately allow for producing, processing and transporting the additional crude oil. This will provide the required offshore oil facilities by installing the required wellhead platforms, tie-in platforms and associated trunklines and flowlines as well as onshore drill sites and associated facilities. The project’s scope also includes the design of the associated electrical, process automation, and supporting facilities infrastructure.
