Wood is recruiting for a Construction Planner to work on a client site in Immingham, Lincolnshire   This will involve working collaboratively with the Client and other delivery team members, initially developing integrated construction plan.   Depending on workload this will also involve other onsite planning support for other construction schemes including maintenance and anomalies.   Duties: - Understanding the scope of the framework and contract deliverables. - Collection of data required to prepare the detailed construction schedules. Including assistance in population of the company job card management system. - Raising of activities and coding structure in the selected planning software. - Interfacing of planning information received from Wood into the client systems. - Delivery of an appropriately detailed and robust schedule based on Jobcards. - Assistance in co-ordination of logical links between engineering, construction and completion programmes. - Production of Short Term Lookaheads for each construction discipline on a weekly basis. - Liaison with engineering/site teams and feedback of planning/progress information on a weekly basis. - Analysis of schedule data and communication of results to relevant parties. - Production of construction labour forecasts/histograms. - Production of weekly planning reports as required by the client. - Presenting the schedule of work to others on the project and to job responsible engineers (JRS’s). - Producing visual aids to help explain the schedule of work, including bar charts, network diagrams and histograms. - Making sure the achieved progress on the project fits the progress anticipated in the schedule. - Keeping in contact with the Lead Planning Engineer and client focal point. - Maintain the schedule and report and variances or issues related to it. - Making adjustments to schedules if necessary. - Liaising with individuals on the project (who may be in another office) via video conference. - Ensuring that all the separate elements of the project fit together and are working towards a common aim Identifying the best series of events in the correct order for the project to finish on time and on budget. - Carry out all works in compliance with both Wood and the clients Corporate and Project specific procedures. - Attendance at relevant progress and planning meetings. - Travel as required between the project offices and site (Darlington, Hull and Grimsby). - Adherence to Wood’s company and project health, safety, environmental, quality and ethics, systems, policies and procedures.

Process Ownership: - Demonstrate knowledge of company processes and systems used within the Construction Excellence Framework (CEF). - Be compliant with company procedures and client codes and standards - Display awareness of project management system requirements. - Accountable for the (applicable) construction deliverables to the required technical standards. - To contribute discipline experience to the ongoing development of project work methods, processes and team development. - Carry out a constructability review of all work packs. Feedback any issues to construction lead or relevant engineering discipline. This will include input at scope survey and engineering stage. - Ensure that all plant and equipment meets requirements, fully certificated and controlled cost effectively. - Attend meetings on behalf of Wood and inform project management of any issues arising from these meetings. - Liaise closely with the construction lead / coordinators to ensure all sub-contractors personnel, materials, plant, equipment, vendors, special tools, common user’s services and consumables are correctly resourced and available. - Deliver against agreed planned work scopes ensuring obligations are met by way of timely completion of work packs. - Ensure effective control of all material movements. - If identified, react to change in scope, inform necessary parties and complete the necessary change management documentation. - Participate in audits and incident investigations as required. - Continuous involvement with project management, engineering, planning and costing disciplines. Massy Wood Guyana is recruiting for Electrical & Instrumentation Explosive Equipment Inspectors [E&I Ex Inspectors] responsible for the inspection of installed EX Equipment on offshore facilities. The E&I Ex Inspectors MUST have an Instrumentation Technician’s Diploma (IIET), Electrical Technician’s Diploma (EEET) or equivalent certification in a related area of study, and formal training of inspection requirements for Close, Visual and Detailed Inspection to IEC/EN60079.   - Read and interpret Technical Drawings and documentation. - Perform inspection and maintenance of electrical apparatus designed and manufactured for use in hazardous areas. - Ensure all Ex Equipment Inspection work is progressed and completed satisfactorily and recorded on the maintenance history records. - Identify equipment non-compliance and recommend remedial actions. - Actively participate in the reviewing of the Equipment Specific Maintenance Programme (ESMP) in order to improve the Asset maintenance plan. - Perform isolations as part of the Permit to Work (PTW) requirements - Ensure that all the works is done in accordance with the Permit to Work (PTW) System requirements. - Prepare equipment inspection reports. - Prepare and deliver written reports at the end of each campaign, turnaround, shut down, daily maintenance activity or shift (handover) - Compile accurate reports of any failure or incidents affecting instrument, electrical equipment, production or property of the Client - Prepare and organise the work packages, including the development and review of procedures, for planned and unplanned work. - Ensure a safe place of work by complying with safety standards such as NFPA 70E; NFPA 70B; NEC; NESC as well as Permit to Work (PTW) in accordance with the Client’s Control of Work (COW) standards.
