El rol implica las siguientes funciones:  - Ayudar al Líder de Adquisiciones en la preparación de los procedimientos y planes de compra de los proyectos a su cargo. - Preparar lista de proveedores en el proyecto, y velar por su homologación y aprobación según procedimiento. - Realizar las funciones necesarias para obtener la correcta calidad y cantidad de equipos/materiales y servicios, al mejor precio posible y con el mejor plazo. - Buscar fuentes de suministro capaces de proporcionar equipos/materiales de buena calidad. - Proponer técnicas de compra que aseguren que los presupuestos del proyecto se lleguen a alcanzar o mejorar. - Emitir solicitudes de cotización, evaluar cotizaciones, negociaciones con proveedores, preparar tabulaciones comerciales de ofertas, preparar cartas de recomendación, emitir órdenes de compra sobre la base de las tabulaciones aprobadas, y revisiones a las órdenes de compra según se requiera y en general ser el contacto con los proveedores para los asuntos comerciales. - Velar por la vigencia y custodia de las Boletas de garantía según acuerdos del proyecto. - Mantener una constante observación para buscar fuentes de suministro, productos, métodos, materiales e ideas mejores y más económicas, comunicándolo a su líder de adquisiciones en el proyecto y/o la gerencia funcional de procurement. - Mantener comunicación constante con las distintas disciplinas técnicas para garantizar el uso óptimo de su capacidad y experiencia. - Mantener contacto con los principales suministradores con objeto de obtener la más completa utilización de su capacidad, experiencia, investigaciones y aplicaciones de nuevos métodos y materiales. - Mantenerse constantemente informado sobre las condiciones actuales y futuras tendencias del mercado y sus probables incidencias en el suministro y precios de los equipos/materiales y servicios. - Participar en la evaluación de suministradores en función de su rendimiento y capacidad. - Recepcionar y verificar las facturas de proveedores para su posterior aprobación por el cliente o el gerente de proyecto. - Mantener comunicación con activación, inspección, tráfico y logística a fin de asegurar plazos y calidad de los acuerdos contractuales de la orden de compra. - Elaborar el proceso de cierre de cada orden de compra, de acuerdo con el estándar del proyecto. - Velar por la confidencialidad de todos los procesos de compra y de todos los proyectos de Wood, la excepción es sólo por la autoridad que corresponda (cliente/proyecto/corporativo). - Utilización de todos los sistemas corporativos para el desarrollo de sus actividades. - Velará por el fiel cumplimiento de las normas de seguridad establecidas por compañía. - Cumplimiento del código de conducta de SCM, y del negocio de la compañía

El rol implica las siguientes funciones:    - Asegurar que los requerimientos de planos y documentos sean atendidos en plazo y forma, de acuerdo con las exigencias establecidas en formulario definido para dicho propósito. - Asegurar que de acuerdo con lo anterior el proveedor, ha atendido la entrega de dicha información y toma conocimiento del ciclo de revisión de dicha documentación. - Deberá asegurar que el proveedor al inicio de la adjudicación de orden, proporcione un programa detallado de entrega de cada uno de los equipos y suministros que forman parte de la asignación de orden. - Revisar y analizar contractualmente el programa de entrega de información vendor (planos y documentos exigidos) formalizado por el proveedor, así como el programa de fabricación, producción e inspección emitido formalmente por el proveedor. - Coordinar con el proveedor en forma anticipada, requerimientos de visitas de inspección establecidas por el proyecto, para atender estas en fecha y forma, asegurando que el proveedor entregue las facilidades del caso. - Mantener información y comunicación fluida con el área de programación y construcción alertando de; entregas anticipadas, entregas en plazos contractuales y por sobre todo cuando se generen desviaciones y/o retrasos en dichas entregas, con el objeto de que se puedan realizar las reprogramaciones de trabajos en terreno, debido a la demora en el arribo de ciertos materiales y/o equipos que impacten el programa de construcción. - Coordinar con el área de inspección la liberación de equipos y suministros previo a su despacho y retiro desde las instalaciones del proveedor, así como con el área de T&L, el retiro de materiales y equipos que estén liberados para su traslado a faena. - Informar al área de bodega la liberación de equipos y suministros en forma anticipada, para que dicho personal pueda preparar las maniobras de recepción y descarga, contando con el personal y equipo adecuado para dicha recepción en las instalaciones de bodega del proyecto, así como asegurar previa coordinación con el personal de bodega, la recepción en conformidad de los equipos y/o materiales, según lo establecido en la orden de compra. - Ante la eventualidad que se presente alguna no conformidad (NCR) deberá tomar las acciones del caso en un plazo no superior a 48 horas, notificando al proveedor en busca de una respuesta y solución de la observación generada. - Apoyar el proceso de validación de proforma de estados de pagos que el proveedor genere, para lo cual obtendrá los respaldos de bodega, información que deba informar el equipo del cliente y cualquier otra acción que permita liberar, en el menor plazo, dicha proforma de estado de pago que presente el proveedor. - Utilización de todos los sistemas corporativos para el desarrollo de sus actividades, manteniendo al día toda la información de los procesos que estén bajo su responsabilidad. - Velará por el fiel cumplimiento de las normas de seguridad establecidas por compañía. - Cumplimiento del código de conducta de SCM, y del negocio de la compañía.

Wood (trading locally as QED International) is currently looking for Head of Mechanical Static Engineering to join our client NCOC in Atyrau 5/2. (for locals/kazakh passport holders). - Development, implementation and continuous improvement of the maintenance strategies for mechanical discipline to ensure the strategies meet the business requirements in terms of effectiveness and cost efficiency - Assure that the strategies are based on Risk & Reliability Management principles to achieve the optimum combination of preventive/predictive/corrective maintenance in pursuance of overall business goals. - Ensure that the maintenance strategy is contained within the Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS), and that any modifications and/or deviations are approved by the discipline engineering TA’s. - Ensure HVAC Discipline ownership of the Safety Critical Elements is demonstrated by updated PMLs and PMOs and periodic technical assurance of the health of the barriers - Monitor FSR Dashboard to ensure risks to SCE’s are duly progressed and satisfactorily closed - Ensure discipline support to the Hardware Barrier Assessment process and Process Safety Field Observations program - Provide mechanical engineering support to all relevant parties onshore & offshore and the turnaround organization - Define and consistently achieve mechanical maintenance engineering-related Key Performance Indicators. - Drive the operational reliability improvement, defect elimination and threat identification processes for both assets involving mechanical discipline - Assure all spare parts are identified and reviewed for mechanical discipline - Support to NCOC N.V. Frame Agreements including support to deviations associated with the procurement of mechanical-static equipment - Support the setup of mechanical spare parts min/max level and acquisition of priority materials - Assure maintenance engineering input is provided into engineering changes if and when required for mechanical discipline - Assure maintenance engineering input for mechanical discipline is delivered in to studies, maintenance reference plans, ORIP, RCA - Contract holdership of mechanical discipline support contracts in the department. - Develop Competency Assessment, Staff Mentoring, On the Job Training (OJT), discipline specialist courses and involvement during commissioning to progress the development of competencies and skills of maintenance engineers and technicians. - Conduct recruitment of engineers and technicians in compliance with Company guidelines and standards. - Develop effective working relationships with relevant disciplines and customers. - Act as role model to promote strong service culture. - Visit onshore and offshore facilities and build a strong asset intimacy.
