Wood is looking for Senior QA/QC Engineer to strenghten our team in Dubai for Iraq Operations.   JOB DIMENSIONS:   As part of the Project Quality Management team, individual should understand the tools and processes required to execute the quality plan, including but not limited to; Equipment criticality and inspection process, QA practices, vendor evaluations, design technical assurance processes, Engineering and Procurement Assessment programs, flawless project delivery, evaluation of contract terms and conditions, KPIs, etc.    In summary, provide an expertise to help projects develop and implement a robust quality management system in all phases of project development.   Project technical assurance experience in project assurance controls, quality engineering requirements, equipment /system criticality assessment, procurement assurance and the ability to audit technical deliverables for a project pertaining to whether the appropriate level of technical assurance was utilized to develop and approve the deliverable    ACCOUNTABILITIES: - Support development and implementation of Project Quality Delivery Plan (overall integration of all project quality related processes (i.e. technical quality assurance, construction quality, fabrication quality, ITPs, inspection, lessons learned, quality incident reporting & alerts, etc.) - Responsible for quality processes and practices (global processes and best practices).  This includes guidance in the implementation of the requirements defined within our CLIENT quality engineering practices. - Support development and implementation of Project Quality Management Systems - Provision of QA/QC training (for quality people as well as project managers and project engineers) - Provide quality input to project plans, risk register, and technical specifications - Support the Project Quality Management Review - Support the Project Assessment programs - owner of the process / continuous improvement and available for conducting the assessments - Support development and implementation of Contractors Project Quality Plans (PQP) which also includes integration of DCAF, TIV, Lessons Learned and Flawless Project Delivery -  Support Development of PCAPs for projects or “Technical Assurance Plans” (if PCAP is not applicable), either directly or providing assistance - Support DCAF implementation including KPI (% Complete) monitoring and best practices plus theme replication - best practices includes IM system flow for tracking of PCAP deliverables - Compliance with PCAP and technical assurance of controls - this would include PCAP auditing and working with TAs to ensure compliance with their Discipline standards and Discipline Delivery Plans - Participate in planning and ensure implementation of TIV, if required. - Develop with Operations Excellence Flawless Project Delivery/Lessons Learned and manage mitigation - Support the quality requirements in contracts and tendering process. This includes conducting evaluation and assessment of quality elements, clarification with bidders and on site evaluation (if required) - Support monitoring of project quality KPIs and reporting of project quality performance - Participation in PARs, VARs and PERs (similar as under Technical Integration, however as part of independent Assurance team) - Participating in quality incident & failure investigations (RCAs/causal learning) - Collation of lessons learned/quality alerts and dissemination into the quality networks and project communities - Development and management of mitigation actions required for Lessons learned and flaws - Development and implementation of audit and review program (this includes vendor, construction / module fabricator assessments) including execution and monitoring the close out of audit findings. - Support audits on design and technical assurance processes (includes design offices / EPCs)
