Wood is recruiting a Field Engineer to join our team in Brunei. The project will run over a five - year period with a possible two - year extension. Wood has many years of experience in carrying such projects all over the world and it is our intention to bring our world class systems to this project. You will be expected to work in a multidiscipline team environment where the overall success of the project is paramount. Wood is looking at a right first - time approach and as such, we are looking for candidates who can rise to a challenge and are interested in being part of an innovative and driven team. - Champion the commitment to safety, security, environmental, and quality priorities and values throughout the Project - Review of Construction Work Packages (during onshore compilation in readiness for offshore execution) in planning, working, and closure - Review / interpret design drawings for constructability - Provide clarifications of drawings, specifications, and other technical documents as necessary to support Construction - Provides technical assistance to the E&I Supervisor and Superintendent and keep them informed on matters relating to quality and quality control - Performs coordination and communications with Design Engineering to resolve technical problems Initiates, coordinates, and oversees the implementation of design changes - General coordination with multiple groups across jobsite (design, QC, subcontractors, etc.) - Support the E&I Supervisor and Superintendent in resolving issues related to applicable electrical and instrumentation activities - Update Work Packages and / or create additional steps for appropriate changes - Initiating, reviewing, implementing, and / or dispositioning change requests such as Field Change Notices, Field Change Requests, Nonconformance Reports, Conditioned Reports, and other technical documentation - In - process and Final Inspections of electrical / instrument components and communicating the readiness for Final Inspection with QC - Acquiring and maintaining as - built information for installations - Request material transfers and / or material verification from warehouses - Report weekly on installed electrical / instrument quantities and status - Performing field walk - downs and inspections to review work for conformance with design requirements, applicable codes / standards, and project procedures - Assists in Coordinating inspections, testing and completion of Inspection Testing Records. - Updating schedulers / project controls of work completed - Reviews the project schedule and works with the applicable Supervisor and Superintendent, and supports work implementation as required - Review and revise project procedures as required - Cross discipline review of design documents and interface with client, vendor, and other disciplines as required - Attend all job-related meetings as required - Conduct meetings with Project Engineers, Onshore Construction Management, Shutdown Coordinator, Offshore Supervision and Operations to set priorities and schedule definition

Wood are seeking a staff Planner to join the Downstream business based over in Ellesmere Port. This is a site based role and you will ideally have experience within oil and gas, construction and tankages.   Purpose: To prepare plans, to update plans, to provide manhour data, and to provide advice and guidance on schedule related matters      Key Aims and objectives: - Produce a resource levelled plan that is set up in accordance with the design strategy, procurement strategy, fabrication strategy and construction strategy for the project  - To monitor progress against the baseline plan with the assistance of the Operations manager(s) and site manager(s)  - To assess the schedule impact of change and incorporate change into live schedules  - To produce and maintain a schedule for the workshop with assistance from the workshop manager    Responsibilities and Duties: - Prepare a resource levelled schedule in primavera P6, adopting the agreed corporate protocols for work breakdown structures and use of Primavera.   - Liaise with the estimator to ensure that all estimated manhours are captured within the plan  - Explore scenarios with the estimator, and operations manager to look for the best available methodology to provide the greatest opportunity to win the project and to deliver the project successfully  - Once the project has been awarded, produce a baseline schedule and agree this with the operations manager and estimator  - Produce the planning templates documents for the project that will assist with monitoring progress (reporting template, s-curve template, CPI and SPI calculations etc)  - Gather progress data each week from the site manager(s) and operations manager(s)  - Report progress each week to the internal stakeholders  - Produce a report suitable for sharing externally with the customer representative  - Work with the QS to incorporate project change into the schedule  - Assisting in root cause analysis of actual manhours versus estimated to help inform the business about lessons learned from historical projects, and to assist in incorporating those lessons into future projects - Work with the client to develop an integrated schedule reflective of our proposed schedule

Wood has many years of experience in carrying such projects all over the world and it is our intention to bring our world class systems to this project.    Purpose / Role - Accountable for accurate and consistent preparation and execution of the project Piping scope in accordance with the project schedule - Liaison with the design team to ensure constructability input is built into the design and that the detail design is installation friendly with the construction priorities  Key aims and objectives - To play an active role in ensuring that all project HSE goals are achieved and where possible exceeded - To ensure all work is carried out in a safe and productive manner in line with Company and Client processes and procedures - To process safe completion of designated sub systems and systems in line with the project schedule and milestones in a consistent and timely manner - To assist in maintenance of the project budget through diligence and utilization of efficient and working practices Prime responsibilities and duties - To be conversant with HS&E plan and to implement the HS&E procedures ensuring the health and safety of personnel - Directly responsible to company site representative on all engineering planning, commissioning, materials, and all other technical services essential to support the construction activities at the offshore worksite - Needs to ensure that the details included in the TA / NTA Plan are fully understood and properly applied by the Construction personnel and that all the project preparation made by the project / planning team is in order - Will work in close liaison with the company site representative and the Construction Superintendent to advise on the technical aspects of the project - Coordinates any requests from Construction Superintendent or any resources required by his subordinates - Liaise with project / planning and commissioning team and relevant company personnel for all design, planning, materials commissioning problems that may arise - Required to review project planning with a view to improve on the completion date, if possible during implementation. Person shall always know the current progress of the project with respect to planning and be able to give details of why a project is ahead / behind schedule at all times - Assess effectiveness of working practices and systems with a view to continuously improving systems, personnel, and team performances - Ensure that constructability is inherent within the design by being involved at the early stage of work scope and workpack compilation / development in accordance with company and project policies and procedures - Actively participate in all company and project safety initiatives - Monitor ongoing activities with regards to completion dates Allied occasional duties - Participate and contribute to Amec Foster Wheeler / Client Emergency Response procedure and process - Participate and contribute in Amec Foster Wheeler nationalization / personnel development programmes - Be Aware of and practice fully the requirement for total safety attitude in all operations - Assist other disciplines, (within capability) Key internal interfaces Project & Construction Management - Project & Design Engineering - Materials group - Planning group - Offshore construction / commissioning group - HSE Adviser Key external interfaces - Client personnel - Sub - contract personnel - Vendors and specialists
