This involves conducting searches for appropriate materials and writing and editing project summaries, resumes of project personnel, and other supporting sections of the proposal, as necessary. Leverages existing archived proposal information. - Take on responsibility of Proposal Lead or Proposal Coordinator as needed for strategic pursuits and top opportunities, or as required due to workload of proposals team including (but not limited to) the following: - Assess the Request for Proposal and customer requirements/evaluation criteria. - Develop and implement the proposal management plan (responsibility/compliance matrix) - Develop and implement the proposal schedule. - Lead proposal kick-off and review meetings. - Oversee and/or expedite the following proposal processes: information gathering and compilation, data entry, formatting, editing, reviews, reproduction and delivery. - Where appropriate, assist/expedite business development managers in the management review of contract, tax, and insurance requirements. - Expedite proposal stakeholders to obtain outstanding proposal deliverables per the proposal schedule and in order to make the proposal deadline. - Ensure consistency and branding compliance for all customer responses. - Prepare post-bid submissions, organize the response to requests for clarification. - Manage the development of customer presentations (pre-proposal or post-proposal) - Oversee/participate in colour/management team reviews. - Remain current on all solicitation modifications/Q&A and communicates them to the team; Revises schedule, outline, and proposal management plan (responsibility/compliance matrix) as necessary throughout proposal life cycle. - Review/analyse proposal sections for consistency and clarity, compliance with solicitation requirements, and alignment with proposed solutions and themes and writes/re-writes proposal sections as necessary to deliver high-quality, winning proposals. - Finalize proposals and other customer responses for submission to customer. - As directed, submit the response to customer as instructed in their instructions (email, hard copy, customer electronic procurement site, etc.) - Oversee graphic designers to conceptualize, develop, and integrate compelling proposal graphics that convey concepts and proposed solutions to enhance proposal documents. - Provide oversight in organizing general proposal files, resources, and boilerplate for quick, efficient and accurate retrieval of information for proposal purposes. - Develop and/or compile sales, marketing, and technical information for proposal use. - Final oversight of customer responses (proposals, pre-qualifications, requests for information, and presentations) as appropriate to ensure quality, compliance and best practice incorporation - Where required within the business, manage proposal budgets and monitor proposal spend - Assist in the maintenance of CRM opportunities during the proposal stage. - This includes updating Pursuit Status, Revenue, Workhours, Work split, Lead Review date, Approval to Prepare date and Approval to Submit date. Wood is currently looking to appoint Construction Superintendent (Static Equipment and pipeline) for the ADNOC Gas Processing – Pipeline Portfolio Project to be based at site in UAE on residential basis working 60hrs / week.   The Construction Superintendent shall report to the Construction Manager and have overall responsible for a particular area of the worksite, although from time to time he shall assist in other areas of work when required. The Construction Superintendent will stand-in for the Construction Manager when they are absent from site. He will ensure the Construction Supervisors, that are assigned duties on specific areas/units, are aligned both internally within IPMT and externally with the Contractor to progress and support site activities.   The Construction Superintendent shall have multi-discipline capabilities with focus on Static equipment and pipeline. The Construction Superintendent shall routinely interface with the Contractor’s Construction Manager. Key responsibilities are listed below - Communicate the Project safety standards, rules and regulations as captured in the PMC and EPC Contractor’s HSSE plans and procedures to PMC and EPC Contractor personnel - Monitor and enforce the adherence to the safety standards, rules and regulations - Maintain and enforce housekeeping and hygiene standards inside the construction areas including offices, canteens, restrooms and change rooms - Ensure construction is executed in accordance with applicable specifications, drawings and standards with special emphasis on revision control - Participate in regular on-site EPC Contractor progress meetings, actively participate in interface coordination meetings and attend other project meetings as required - Ensure work and quality related inspections are carried out in accordance with the PMC Quality Management System (QMS) and approved Inspection and Test Plans - Ensure the results of quality inspections and non-conformances are registered and properly documented, remedial actions are defined, effectively implemented and closed out - Review the EPC Contractors’ progress and productivity measurement reports and advising the Construction Manager on trends or occurrences with a possible negative impact - Ensure instructions for approved scope changes are issued, processed and efficiently implemented - Coordinate Pre-Commissioning and Commissioning activities with the PMC Commissioning staff and EPC Contractor, provide input into the Commissioning Program - Give input for the monthly construction progress report and other project reporting requirements - Review the EPC Contractor submitted look-ahead schedules and advises the Construction Manager on activities start / finish deviations from the construction planning with a possible negative impact

Job title: Compex Electricians Location: Immingham Job ID: 2022 - 105085 Start: 31/05/2022 Duration - 7 Weeks Wood is looking to speak to Compex Electricians for work on a our clients refinery located in Immingham.   Experience in Electrical installation, maintenance or construction in Petrochem, Refinery, Pharma, Energy industry is a requirement,    Working pattern 13 days working and 1 day off 10 hour shifts.  Day shift and night shift.    Purpose / Role - To carry out construction installations. - To ensure that all work is completed in a safe manner ensuring no detrimental impact to personnel, fabric or environment. - To deliver a very proactive, consistent and high quality service to the client, in full accordance with maintenance, site and company standards/requirements, to the relevant standards and procedures. - To work with the client to ensure timely completion, to a very high standard and in line with schedules/department goals.   Key aims and objectives - To perform all works to the highest level of safety - To work closely with the client and ensure he/she is happy with the standard of work. - To quickly integrate well into an already established team and demonstrate excellent team-working skills, as well as the ability to work alone and think on your feet Prime responsibilities and duties - Carry out construction installations. Planned/Preventative maintenance routines as well as attend breakdowns on a wide range of equipment across a Secondary Pharmaceutical Plant. This could also include isolation and testing of electrical equipment, including glanding and termination of cables. - Potential for working in HAZARDOUS areas. - Read, understand and implement all applicable maintenance policies, working practices and procedures, ensuring at all times that the electrical workscope is completed safely and to a high standard. - Provide support to other trades/disciplines where required - Generate/have a thorough understanding of Risk Assessments (RA) in order to complete workscopes in a safe and controlled manner. - Have a thorough understanding of Permit to Work (PTW) systems.   Local candidates preferred but travellers considered. Must have Right to Work in the UK.
