The ideal candidate will have prior experience in one or more of upstream oil and gas, midstream, LNG, refining, petrochemicals, chemicals and power industries.  - Review and understand all relevant project documentation including scope of services, project execution plan, proposal/project schedule (including manpower projection plan), WBS, conditions of contract. - Work within the standard planning/scheduling procedures. - Prepare activity plans to accomplish all work required. - Liaise with Client Project Control personnel as necessary. - Ensure the timely preparation and issue of EPC Schedules - Lead schedule review meetings with the project team including schedule development and schedule risk workshops as required. - Develop Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) for EPC execution & Packages for review and agreement. - Developed EPC Schedule for each of the identified EPC Packages as per the agreed Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) and execution strategy for EPC implementation. - The schedules shall be developed using Primavera P6 (Version 18). - Develop resource based, construction and commissioning driven EPC Schedules, through integration of all activities related to detailed Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Pre-commissioning and Commissioning. - Carryout “Schedule Risk Analysis” of the EPC SCHEDULE based on the Monte Carlo Model using Primavera Risk Analysis software. - Submit a “Risk Analysis Report” along with recommendations with regard to EPC duration. - Develop Payment Milestones based on EPC schedule. - Assess the EPC cost estimate risk similar to EPC Schedule Risk Analysis. - Perform the Integrated EPC Cost and Schedule Risk Analysis to demonstrate Schedule P80 and Cost P50 confidence factor. - Develop Integrated Cost and Schedule Risk Analysis procedure.

  Wood is currently recruiting for a Senior Process Engineer for a 6 Month Fixed Term Staff Contract based in Barrow In Furness working a 7/7 Rota.   - The Senior Process Engineer is a role within the Operations Support Team and as such provides support to both the Offshore and Onshore assets.Responsible for providing engineering support to the execution teams running the assets with the aim of optimising production, remaining in compliance with operating conditions. Responsible for reviewing and approving process deviations, inhibits and non-routine operations.   - Responsible for monitoring and managing plant equipment/system performance and ensuring reliable, efficient equipment as well as identifying and providing cost-effective engineering solutions to plant operations and processing issues. - Provision of qualified engineering advice and approval of engineering changes, maintenance deferrals, ORSs etc as per authorisation/approval levels. - Responsible for discipline engineering support to the assets / asset maintenance engineers - Responsible for Technical Controlling documents.Collaborate closely with the Technical function. - Accountable for the delivery and quality of all Process equipment engineering work (internal and external) for operated assets and projects. - Accountable for Process engineering budget, brownfields capex budget, holds asset accountability for ensuring project delivery is as expected against sanctioned business case, and brownfields work plans are integrated into the asset plans and supported by the asset operations teams. - Accountable for Process engineering MOC’s and resulting modifications; ‘customer’ for engineering Brownfield modifications projects and responsible for ensuring projects are delivered on time, to cost, and meet the asset requirement. - Provides clear direction and assurance to compliance with statutory legislation in respect of Major Accident Hazard management - Act as custodian of Process engineering standards and Asset Engineering documentation and assure their compliance. - Recommends and delivers Process improvement initiatives and executes engineering studies on behalf of the asset. - Lead, engage and participate in the operational improvement process (HAZOPs/HAZIDs) to optimise discipline specific engineering support. - Assist with resolution of operational problems, including participation in and close-out of accident/incident investigations and equipment failure RCA - Manage relevant support contracts. - Accountable for ensuring performance standards are accurate and adhered to via the Inspection, Test and Maintenance programme - Accountable for assuring regulatory compliance, adhering to standards and implementing industry best practice - Review, amend and approve non-routine operation (NRO) procedures for annual shutdown and as required during the operating season.  - Significant experience in client/operator relationships and in the management of contractors - Ability to resolve complex problems in a range of contexts from conceptual design to operational facilities - Brings groups of diverse individuals together - Challenges, supports and inspires others to achieve their full potential - Drives innovative solutions and pace - Understands overall business strategy and role of equipment performance within strategy - It is an expectation of the business that the job holder maintains and continues to develop the competencies necessary to carry out the role to the required standard whilst in position.
