Wood is currently recruiting a Finance Reporting Manager, this role is offered on a part-time job share basis for a fixed-term period of 12 months and hybrid working is offered. The Finance Reporting Manager plays an important role in delivering a number of significant elements of financial analysis across month end, budgets and forecasts for the Centre business unit. Reporting directly to the VP Centre Accounting & Reporting, this role is responsible for the production of several key deliverables as well as supporting month end close. The Finance Reporting Manager works very closely with the Finance Business Partners in Group Functions to consolidate monthly reporting relating to overheads as well as the production of summary financial information feeding the Group budget and forecasting processes.   A key aspect of the role is production of draft cashflow forecasts in line with the Group timetable to inform group reporting and support trading updates. The preparation of detailed analysis of payments and receipts and phasing of these forms a critical part of delivering this together with validation of the underlying data and follow up where appropriate.   At year end and interim reporting, the Finance Reporting Manager is responsible for additional deliverables required by the Group Finance team and also supports ad hoc requests. The roleholder will also ensure that the VP Centre Accounting & Reporting and Group Financial Controller have the reports and analysis that they require, including both routine reports and ad-hoc analysis relating to the Centre BU.   Key Responsibilities   Cashflow - Preparation of cashflow forecast for Centre business unit to required Group timetables. - Own the reconciliation of short-term v long-term cashflow forecasts (Indirect v Direct method) for the Centre BU. - Identify risks and opportunities to the cashflow forecast. In this role, you will be responsible for the execution of project work in accordance with the project execution plan, including Wood and/or Project Procedures on Safety and Quality Control within the man-hour, cost and project schedule targets.   Reflecting the market focus for the office in both brownfield and green field opportunities, multi-skilled personnel are sought, in particular those with experience in: - Onshore Oil and Gas - Offshore Oil and Gas Responsibilities   - Ensures Wood and Client Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality procedures are followed and that a high standard of safety is achieved in all associated work - Produces and reviews C&I deliverables with little input or guidance from the Lead Engineer, ensuring accuracy and alignment with the scope of work prior to issue. Technically approve Order Variation Summaries - Holds co-ordination meetings and engineering review meetings with Vendors of major equipment as required - Prepares and develops material take off for the I&C discipline - Assist in performing managerial tasks as requested, such as assigning tasks to engineers; planning and coordinating portions of the engineering work; preparing scopes, schedules, and budgets; attending project meetings; and developing lesser-experienced technical professionals - May serve as the Lead Engineer and/or discipline technical authority when required on small to medium complexity projects. In such capacity will take responsibility and ownership for cost, schedule, resource allocation and risk. - Provide piping input to tenders and project estimates in the development of method statements, deliverable lists, manhours, CTRs and risk - May supervise a small work group consisting of engineers and designers with some coaching from Lead Engineer, or may provide advice and guidance in area of specialisation to others - Takes responsibility and ownership for challenging I&C engineering tasks and capable of delivering scope for an area on large and/or complex projects - Participates in project reviews, design reviews, audits and other workshops as required - Completion of site surveys and data gathering for brownfield scope of work, taking responsibility for development of the site survey report - Assess progress and procedure associated reports and input to the progress measurement system.
