Reporting directly to the VP Centre Accounting & Reporting, this role is responsible for the production of several key deliverables as well as supporting month end close. The Finance Reporting Manager works very closely with the Finance Business Partners in Group Functions to consolidate monthly reporting relating to overheads as well as the production of summary financial information feeding the Group budget and forecasting processes.
A key aspect of the role is production of draft cashflow forecasts in line with the Group timetable to inform group reporting and support trading updates. The preparation of detailed analysis of payments and receipts and phasing of these forms a critical part of delivering this together with validation of the underlying data and follow up where appropriate.
At year end and interim reporting, the Finance Reporting Manager is responsible for additional deliverables required by the Group Finance team and also supports ad hoc requests. The roleholder will also ensure that the VP Centre Accounting & Reporting and Group Financial Controller have the reports and analysis that they require, including both routine reports and ad-hoc analysis relating to the Centre BU.
Key Responsibilities
Cashflow
- Preparation of cashflow forecast for Centre business unit to required Group timetables.
- Own the reconciliation of short-term v long-term cashflow forecasts (Indirect v Direct method) for the Centre BU.
- Identify risks and opportunities to the cashflow forecast.
Budgets/forecasts
- Consolidation of Centre and Shared cost budgets and forecast and preparation of summaries for Functional and ELT review.
- Preparation and load of budget/forecast data for certain Centre consol units
Month end
- Close out of HFM month end reporting for the business unit including follow up on validations and supporting users with queries.
- Load of monthly cashflow data for certain non Oracle head office companies
- Prepare consolidated monthly summaries of overheads shared cost pools and ongoing monitoring vs budget and allocations.
- Production of monthly overhead reporting for group functions components and support functional leads with finance-related queries.
- Support with production of analysis for adhoc queries from Group Finance.
Half year and year end
- Preparation of exceptional items report for business unit (HY/FY).
- Preparation of provisions reporting for business unit (HY/FY).

Typical responsibilities
- Support the Team’s programme of projects to ensure the company’s EBIT targets are being maximised whilst delivering works on time with the goal of exceeding client’s expectations

The Trade Compliance Advisor will support the Trade Compliance Counsel on the delivery of Wood’s global sanctions and export controls programmes. The Advisor will administer the sanctions and exports controls approvals process, provide sanctions and export controls advice, training and guidance to the business, support ongoing improvement work (specifically the sanctions improvement plan and, in due course, the export controls improvement plan), conduct/support assurance, and make timely interventions to promote effective management of sanctions and export control risks by the business.
Key Responsibilities
- With support from the Trade Compliance Counsel, administer the sanctions and export controls approvals process, including:
- Raising awareness of the sanctions and export controls policy and procedure
- Responding to sanctions and export control enquiries from the business
- Supporting the Trade Compliance Contacts and the business with the evaluation of sanctions and export control risks and analysis of screening results
- Advising the business on the due diligence and approvals requirements
- Arranging 3rd party due diligence when needed
- Reviewing transaction approval requests
- Maintaining an E&C register of transaction approvals and prompting the business to renew approvals when needed
- Supporting the business with the drafting of international trade compliance provisions to protect Wood’s position
- Conducting and supporting assurance activities to confirm that sanctions and export controls risks are being identified and managed pre and post award
- Respond to sanctions and export control compliance questions in 3rd party due diligence questionnaires
- Support the management and mitigation of trade compliance risks as identified in the Ethics & Compliance Risk Register and lead on assigned tasks
- Support the implementation of the Sanctions Improvement Program and lead on assigned tasks
