These projects cover South East Queensland across multiple locations.   We are currently seeking a qualified Maintenance Planner to join our team. Wood is currently searching for a Consultant Engineer to join our team based in Melbourne.  Our ideal candidate will join a team of engineering specialists working within the field of engineering dynamics specifically focusing on managing vibration induced fatigue risks in Static Equipment Systems.   This is a practical consulting role combining hands-on field work and office based analysis and reporting.  In this role you will demonstrate your technical interests, particularly resolving the causes and effects of vibration in static equipment and structures in process plants, including piping and instrument tubing.  Working enthusiastically you will provide engineering solutions and services improving the integrity, reliability and performance of our client's facilities.    Please note that at this time, we will only consider applications from Australian citizens or those who hold Permanent Residency (PR) and do not require company sponsorship to work lawfully in Australia. - Assist with vibration-related field inspections/surveys and troubleshooting investigations associated with piping and tubing attached to process plant - A keen eye for detail and the ability to quickly interpret key client evidence - Prepare written reports of investigation findings and recommend methods for rectification - Maintain and develop new client relationships - Develop systems and processes for continuous improvement - Provide innovative engineering solutions within a customer focused and service oriented framework You will demonstrate:  - Familiarity with piping vibration or structural dynamics (preferred however not essential) - Familiarity with process and piping drawings such as P&IDs and isometrics - Exposure to digital tools/ coding / data handling (e.g using Python, SQL, Power BI Visualisations) - Some familiarity with relevant piping codes and / or modelling based analysis techniques such as FEA, CFD, etc (preferred however not essential) - Strong communication skills, technically curious, and able to provide a customer focused service  - Ability to work within project budget, schedule, and resource constraints - Strong competency in English literacy, effective report writing skills, and computer proficient - Exposure to site work and flexibility to take on site travel to client locations throughout Australia when required - Exposure to design, inspection, or integrity/reliability management of machinery packages (e.g reciprocating and screw compressors, pumps)

Wood is currently recruiting for In-Country HSE Manager(s) to join our team in PNGLNG site, Port Moresby on a Fly in Fly Out rotational schedule (28 days on /28 days off).   Reporting directly to the Project Delivery Manager, this position will be the focal point for all Health and Safety related queries and will play a critical role to the ongoing success of contracts covering PNG operations. The successful applicant will provide resolution to issues and monitors integration of health and safety programmes including hazard and risk identification, incident reporting and investigation, employee health and well-being, environmental hygiene and organisational transformation.   Responsibilities - Accountable for safety of all WOOD employees In-Country, including the implementation of the Contract safety plan - This position is to provide the management, strategy, and direction to deliver HSE excellence and risk management. The primary objective is to ensure that support, advice and guidance is given to ensure all Wood personnel and controlled contractors and have the necessary tools, training and awareness to carry out their tasks safely. - Monitors the recording, reporting, and analysis of HSE performance metrics including both leading and lagging indicators for the contracts - Ensures compliance with local, national, industry, internal Wood and client HSE laws, regulations and procedures and client and Wood management systems - Demonstrates the ability to manage uncertainty to achieve a balance in the competing demands of the business - Prepares and submits reports to management on current contract status and recommendations to improve efficiency and effectiveness - Establishes relationships with HSE contractors and suppliers on the basis of minimum risk and provides assurance of mitigation of those risks - Actively works with functional managers to ensure the business unit achieves its HSE performance targets - Promotes the principles of fairness and equity in line with the company’s stated core values - Selects, trains, develops and motivates HSE staff to deliver services within constraints of specific objectives, budget and target dates
