Wood is currently recruiting for Graduate Project Engineers to provide support to our Client in the execution of projects.    Job Objective:   A Graduate Project Engineer will normally be assigned to a section of a Project. For the assigned section of the Project, duties and responsibilities will include the following: - Report to the Lead Project Engineer and execute tasks as prescribed the lead. - Execution of assigned work in accordance with the applicable Project Procedures and Standards, within the manhour and cost budgets and the project schedule targets. - Coordination of all engineering and design activities. - Coordination and liaison with Client, Construction, Commissioning, Project Control and Procurement personnel. Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities; - The prime task of project engineering is to ensure multi-discipline coordination and to expedite the issue of deliverables to schedule. To achieve this it is essential that Project Engineers are, by personal interaction with others, aware of all that is happening in their area of responsibility. - Project Engineers need to be aware of current and potential future problems and be prepared to actively assist in resolving these problems. To be effective, Project Engineers require accurate knowledge of Wood’s contractual scope of work and the project schedule. - Project Engineers should play a co-ordination role between engineering disciplines executing the project to ensure engineering quality is maintained under schedule pressure. - Be familiar with the contents of the Department Quality Plan and perform tasks required by that plan. - Prepare engineering flow diagrams, equipment list, line list and other indices for review and approval by the Lead Project Engineer. - Ensure the procedures and Work Practices listed in the Project Engineering Quality Plan are applied as appropriate. - Ensure all Client standards and practices as described in the Work Scope are obtained, registered and available to the engineering team - Develop the Engineering design through the issue of MFD’s, Line Lists, Equipment lists and other design documents. - Be familiar with the requirements of the project schedule and hold regular discussions with Lead Engineers regarding same. Expedite Engineers to deliver to schedule. Actively understand reasons for delay and assist in overcoming delays. - Ensure all Engineering Indices are developed and issued on a regular basis. - Know and understand schedule milestones. Ensure these are understood by Lead Discipline Engineers, monitor progress against milestones and initiate cross discipline remedial action where necessary. - Assist the lead to ensure project schedule provides for internal and Client reviews appropriate for the project phase. - Assist the lead to ensure effective cross-discipline coordination and resolve cross discipline problems. - Assist the lead to develop project specific procedures as appropriate to enhance project performance. - Assist the lead to review document, requisition and subcontract indexes and ensure that these documents are updated and available for issue on schedule. - Assist the lead to review requisitions for major items of equipment, package equipment and major bulk materials, for compliance with scope of work.Assist the lead to maintain contact between site personnel and Home Office on all engineering matters. - Advise the Lead Project Engineerof any changes to engineering design or specification made by the client which could be considered as the basis of a contract change and provide information as required for estimating the cost and schedule effect of contract changes. - Understand the requirements for Design Reviews. Participate where required by procedure and ensure that relevant groups satisfactorily close actions. Project Engineers should Clear definition of review objectives, assertive workshop leadership, ability to keep clients and facilitators on track. - Assist the lead to chair and manage Model Reviews. Ensure that relevant groups prepare the model in a timely manner to meet the quality standards of the review. Ensure attendance of specified personnel for the review, and allocate appropriate actions to the respective owners. Expedite close out of actions to the agreed dates. - Know how to use, navigate through and interrogate the 3D Model using the assigned software for review purposes. - Assist the lead to prepare multi-discipline subcontract requisitions ensuring full input from relevant engineering disciplines, having first become familiar with terms and conditions of contract and the construction strategy. - Assist the lead to prepare appropriate procedures and standards as defined in the Department Quality Plan and as required by the scope of work for the project. - Follow procedures for the handover of engineering deliverables to construction and client Document Management Group. - Provide input to the Project closure report and End of Job documentation.

Wood is currently recruiting for a Senior Subcontracts Engineer with extensive experience in the oil and gas petrochemical industry , located primarilty at our offices in Aberdeen.   Initially the position is for up to a 12 month duration but with the potential to develop into a more permanent role.   Our Client is looking to fast track the development of an offshore field in an international location using a new build FPSO.     We are looking for a high calibre, experienced and suitably qualified Subcontracts Engineer who has a proven delivery track record of contract drafting, negotiation and performance management to be part of Project Supply Chain team.   Although based in Aberdeen the role may require travel to other locations.  The role shall require skills that support identifcation and pre-qualification of suitable vendors, developing and issuing invitations to tender, negotiating and awarding contracts, post-award contract management, performance management and close out to final account across a wide range of services to support all aspects of Project needs.   Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities includes; - Drafting, review and negotiation of terms and conditions of contracts with subcontractors required to work in an offshore environment. - Ability to negotiate complex contracts and strategic deals under the supervision of the Project Supply Chain Manager. - Provide assistance with the terms and conditions of/negotiation of subcontracts (including more complex flow down terms). - Ability to draft and edit documents for compliance with Wood Subcontractact procedure and to follow the relevant internal contracting policies and processes. - Interface with theWood Commercial, Tax, Insurance and Legal Departments and any other functions as appropriate. - Interface with Client Supply Chain Focal Point - Act as Supply Chain Focal point for key subcobntracts - Accountable for delivery of contract tasks, setting appropriate KPIs ensuring they are completed correctly and in a timely manner - Provide leadership in performance management and utilising scorecard to measure  subcontractor delivery - Manage variations, and interrogate outturn cost against budget ensuring escalations are justified

Prepare day-to-day, weekly targets and report a daily progress of the ongoing activities to line management   Review work requests to determine personnel requirements, request materials necessary, ensure tools and equipment are available, and establish a schedule to complete the work within acceptable time and quality parameters.   Carry out surveys for Rejuvenation preparation works related to industrial dry grit blasting, painting and other means of corrosion protection methods.   Estimate labour, materials and other requirements for completion of specific jobs and provide written estimates when required. Initiates discussions on a regular basis concerning work related issues such as conflicts and work performances, with a view to seeking solutions.   Maintains a working inventory of parts, supplies or equipment. Wood is looking for an experienced Project Accountant to join our team in Brunei. - Review coding of AP invoices to ensure cost is allocated correctly - Identify / coordinate / troubleshoot/ resolve/ report any financial process issue on the contract relating to accounts payable, time writing, 3rd party time writers - Ensure hourly rates data changes is updated in a timely manner in Oracle - To perform month end close activities for contract including cost and revenues accruals, Oracle system closing, etc - Preparation of various group reporting requirement eg Flash/Bridge/Unbilled receivable and AR analysis - To take on all other financial analysis, financial data request as required

Wood is currently recruiting for a Graduate Project Accountant for our Brisbane based Graduate Program with an immediate start.   This position will report directly to theSenior Project Accountant.   What will I do?   Billing: - Review of weekly time writing hours, ensuring accurate allocation of time and costs to contracted work - Ensure alignment of client and internal financial systems to facilitate billing and cost reconciliation - Ensure rates data changes captured in a timely manner in Oracle and submitted to the client for approval - Oversee client invoice is in accordance with contract; - Manage customer financial audit processes & ensure resolution is reached; - Ensure customer payments meet contractual timing; - Liaises with client representatives, and project personnel to resolve billing queries; - Manage the billing process and ensure that the DSO target for the contract is achieved, with any issues raised for timely resolution with the respective parties   Month end close/reporting: - Assist with the reporting of contract performance and analyses variances eg internal and external dashboard reports and other reports as required by the contract - Undertake the month end close for contract and the submission of various group reporting requirement eg Flash/Bridge/Unbilled and AR analysis - Work with Finance Shared Services to ensure allocation of payments to receivables is done timely monthly.   Other - Assist the Project Accountant/Senior Project Accountant in financial analysis, financial data requests as required by the contact manager and other stakeholders - Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities - Resolve/coordinate/troubleshoot all process issues/matters on the contract relating to employee expense claims, Accounts Payable and Time writing  So what do you get in return? Wood is currently recruiting for a Principal Electrical Engineer with extensive experience in the oil and gas petrochemical industry.   The role will be part of our Aberdeen Engineer Hub. This is a multi-client and multi-discipline engineering and design team.   This vacancy is primarily to support an upcoming FEED study on a Flare Gas Recovery project for a major oil & gas operator in the North Sea. The role is an excellent opportunity to be involved in decarbonisation projects. The FEED study is expected to start in April 2023 and run for 6 months before moving into detail design.
