This is a multi-client and multi-discipline engineering and design team.   This vacancy is primarily to support an upcoming FEED study on a Flare Gas Recovery project for a major oil & gas operator in the North Sea. The role is an excellent opportunity to be involved in decarbonisation projects. The FEED study is expected to start in April 2023 and run for 6 months before moving into detail design. This position applies to a single Project where Wood Process and Energy are seeking expressions of interest from Principal Quality Engineers with extensive experience working on EPCm projects within in the Oil & Gas/Petrochemical Industry for a project in the North-West. Wood is recruiting for a Mechanical Work Preparator with extensive experience in the oil & gas industry.   Purpose of Role   This position is based onshore and reports to the Maintenance & Integrity Lead.   Responsible for quality work preparation of Mechanical PM & CM orders in CMMS system. The Work Preparator has specific responsibility for those corrective WOs that have a priority of P3-P8 (Emergency and Urgent work will be prepared offshore).   Principal Responsibilities   - Ensure all Maintenance activities are prepared to allow a safe and environmentally responsible operation. - Comply with all Client and Wood HSE principles, policies, and procedures. - Responsible for the daily selection of both PM & Breakdown work orders for preparation following prioritisation guidelines. - Apply technical knowledge to determine equipment problems, failure modes and identify appropriate solutions in order to develop work packs. - Ensure work order look a heads are performed and future work reflected in schedules / Maintenance plans. - Work closely with offshore supervision to optimise vendor / specialist activities ensuring no mobilisations takes place where comprehensive work preparation is not complete and executable. - When required, attend Short and Long term IAP meetings. - Responsible for running daily ready for execution checks & setting relevant work orders for scheduling. - Responsible for ensuring all Repair Order constraints are managed, prioritised, scheduled and delivered as per target dates. - Responsible for ensuring all constraints (incl materials) are managed in relation to rough scheduled dates and target finish dates. - Evaluate Work Pack feedback to improve future work preparation utilising the Z6 process. - Responsible for determining planned man hours & updating estimate man hours fields. - Responsible for maintaining a high standard of work preparation to allow the accurate measurement of workload status. - Perform quality checks on Breakdown, Repair & Folllow-On Work Orders to ensure the scope has been fully completed and the work order history is correctly closed out. - Support Static Mechanical and Rotating Equipment Engineers to define and prepare packaged equipment repairs. - Interface with TAR co-ordinators with regard to identifying pre/post-TAR activities and also TAR specific critical activities. - Attends daily Work Order review and prioritisation meetings. - Act as stand in for Scheduler where required. - Responsible for incrementally improving the platform maintenance & operations technician competence in work order preparation. - Where required will comply with Management of Change Process (e-MOC) and liaise with Technical Authorities (TA2). - Monitor and track KPIs that drive achievement in work preparation in terms of cost, efficiency and integrity. - Responsible for the generation of weekly/monthly reports (KPI info \ efficiency data).  

Principal Process Engineer   Wood Process and Energy is recruiting a Principal Process Engineer on a contract basis to support our process engineering team in Glasgow.   The successful candidate will act as Principal Process Engineer on project teams and have responsibility for the process design across a range of Wood's current projects at all stages of the design process. You will be joining a team servicing a range of different industries including traditional Petrochemical, Refining, Gas and Chemicals projects, but also working in the power sector and emerging technologies, such as Hydrogen and CCS, in the energy transition market.   We are looking for engineers with the drive and commitment to make a genuine difference to our performance on projects across the full life cycle, from studies and FEED to EPC, to ensure that Wood continues to differentiate itself from its competitors by delivering quality projects to our client’s requirements. Wood Applied Intelligence (AI) is currently recruiting for an experienced automation engineer to join our Cyber / Network and Infrastructure team which focuses on Operational Technology Security and Critical National Infrastructure across the energy, utilities, manufacturing sectors.   Wood AI provides a wide range of solutions leveraging real-time data and automation solutions globally and across multiple industrial markets.  As an independent integrator, we provide operational technology (physical and digital) to connect, control and optimise process and manufacturing facilities, as well as supporting other Wood Offices for automation scope, where required.   Whilst this role can be based anywhere in the UK, mobility and travel to customer sites and face to face meetings with colleagues will be expected as required.   Join a culture of innovation, pushing the boundaries of what is possible to seek the best solutions for our clients.   The Cyber Security SME (Subject Matter Expert) will be an integral member of the Cyber / Network and Infrastructure Team providing work within project teams or seconded to clients helping us deliver effective and professional services for a range of varied and high-profile clients.   Responsibilities / Duties  - Develops a comprehensive understanding of the key Regulatory, accepted Industry best practice and standards for Cyber Security activities - Act as the focal point for Cyber Security remediation project deliverables, that are required to directly address business risk and audit findings - Support the I&C and IT functions in the development of a Cyber Security management systems framework, Cyber Security policies and procedures - Lead the development of maintenance management systems and strategies that will support compliance with the Cyber Security management and applicable standards, supporting the continual improvement of assurance related maintenance activities, including status reports and exception process management - Lead the development & delivery of a Cyber Security competency assurance program - Plan and directly manage Cyber Security scope within projects, ensure accurate OT equipment inventories, improved inventory identification, effective software back-up management, baseline cyber security technical controls, removable media controls, physical access controls, remote access controls, accurate OT equipment hierarchy diagram - Lead project scope with obsolescence in critical OT systems and address vulnerabilities in those systems as a result of equipment obsolescence and cyber security threats - Provide OT system technical support to review equipment specific vulnerability reports, identify and action follow up remedial activities to reduce technical risk, including those associated with making remote and local network security enhancements - Generate maintenance plans to ensure Cyber Security lifecycle compliance activities by developing and applying appropriate maintenance strategies using engineering standards, policies, procedures and industry best practice guidance - Lead Cyber Security Risk Assessment (RA) sessions for all OT inventories, ensuring that; all systems are uniquely identified and risk assessed to identify all likely consequences, all systems are categorized using accepted methodology - Lead the assessment of deviations from standard and develop risk mitigations and exception reports where appropriate - Conduct routine cyber security reviews and for corporate audit activities, ensuring forward plans are established for identified compliance gaps - Ensure corporate and regulatory bodies audit findings relating to Cyber Security are followed-up in a timely manner - Undertake offshore visits to support in the delivery of compliance assurance activities associated with the Cyber Security management systems and to conduct site compliance checks - Cyber Security focal point in relation to relevant industry and governing bodies as required and directed - Liaise with peers to co-ordinate cyber security remediation project activities, ensuring a coherent and consistent approach is adopted by all relevant personnel - Carry out other duties related to the Instrument and Control discipline, including checking design deliverables, and assisting with urgent support when directed by the Engineering Manager

In this role you are collaborating with a team of designers and engineers, where you will have the opportunity to be hands-on in supporting the group’s objectives across a major offshore FEED Project. Reflecting the market focus for the office in both brownfield and green field opportunities, multi-skilled personnel are sought, in particular those with experience in:  - Onshore Oil and Gas  - Offshore Oil and Gas   Responsibilities - Adheres to Wood and Client Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality procedures are followed and that a high standard of safety is achieved in all associated work.  - Responsible for making sure their drawings and modelling adhere to Wood, Client, project, and/or all regulatory standards.  - Interfaces with other engineering disciplines to develop the 3D model and 2D design with source deliverables such as P&IDs. - Preparation of deliverables as necessary on your appointed project such as but not limited to equipment layouts and piping GADs. - Is able to work independently, taking a proactive approach to meet the piping design schedule - Takes ownership, leading other designers in a work share environment to deliver the area design. - Ensuring the quality, technical accuracy, and content of all project deliverables.
