Wood is currently recruiting for Package Engineer with extensive experience in the oil and gas petrochemical industry for our Secunda operation.   Key Responsibilities:   - Responsible for the engineering of all rotating equipment, mechanical handling and packaged units on assigned projects. - Responsible for preparation of project related standards and job notes. - Prepare project specific standards and job notes. - Prepare requisition index for rotating equipment, mechanical handling and packaged units, indicating planned issue date for each requisition. Update and reissue monthly. - Prepare general notes requisitions for rotating equipment, mechanical handling and packaged units. - Review flow sheets for correctness of depicting of rotating equipment, mechanical handling and packaged units, operating and design conditions and piping and instrumentation connections. - Compile mechanical datasheets and requisition rotating equipment, mechanical handling and packaged units. - Prepare technical bid analysis and evaluation reports for rotating equipment, mechanical handling and packaged units - Attend coordination meetings and engineering review meetings with suppliers of major equipment as required. - Review document requirements and issue dates for major equipment with suppliers and assist Procurement Department in compiling a Supplier’s Document Index. - Assist Procurement Department with the expediting of supplier documents. - Review and approve supplier documents for rotating equipment, mechanical handling and packaged units and distribute. - Review and approve supplier documents for rotating equipment, mechanical handling and packaged units and distribute. - Responsible to ensure that all relevant engineering disciplines review and have provided comments on supplier documents. - Give guidance to client, project engineers, other specialist engineers and inspectors on rotating equipment, mechanical handling and packaged units engineering matters. Coordinate review of all other engineering aspects of package unit supplier’s drawings. - Perform inspections and witness factory acceptance testing where required. - Advise the Chief Mechanical Engineer of any slippages and their causes and proposed corrective action. - Advise the Chief Mechanical Engineer of any technical problems and unresolved differences with other groups. - Co-ordinate with Procurement Department and ensure certified drawings are available in time to meet the engineering schedules. - Notify the Project Engineer or all deficiencies in the flow of data or other basic information required for execution of work. - Assist the Lead Mechanical Engineer with progress reports. - Keep abreast of development in the rotating equipment, mechanical handling and packaged units engineering field. - Suggest ways to improve efficiency, costs and service in the execution of projects. - Assist where necessary in the compilation of operating manuals and mechanical catalogues. - Assist where necessary, in the construction, handover and commissioning of rotating equipment, mechanical handling and packaged units. - Depending on the workload may need to perform all responsibilities listed in this document on static equipment (i.e. vessels and heat exchangers). - Perform such duties as may reasonably be assigned by the Chief Mechanical Engineer.

Takes pride in delivering a high-quality service. - To understand the level of detail of each stage of a project life cycle Key Responsibilities: - Assist in preparation of engineering deliverables such as (but not limited to) control philosophies, functional specifications, basis of design, etc. under the guidance of the Lead C&I Engineer. - Assist in preparation of material and contract requisitions including preparation of indirect and direct Bills of Quantities under the guidance of the Lead C&I Engineer. - Preparation of the requisition index for instrument work, indicating planned issue date for each requisition. - Develop an in-depth knowledge and understanding of national and international standards including client specific standards for application to engineering. - Gain an in depth understanding and give input into the development of P&ID’s and PFDs to ensure all C&I requirements are identified and implemented. - Develop design engineering drawings and assist the designers with engineering technical detail on drawings under the guidance of the Lead Engineer and C&I Designer. - Give input into instrumentation drawings and ensure that the quality of design and drawings produced for enquiry and fabrication purposes is of satisfactory standard. - Prepare technical bid analysis for instrumentation for review by the Lead C&I Engineer - Attendance of P&ID, Hazop, Design and SIL Reviews under the supervision of the Lead C&I Engineer - Attend coordination meetings and engineering review meetings with suppliers and systems integrators as required by the Lead C&I Engineer. - Preparation of project related standards and technical specifications - DevelopandpreparecontractrequisitionsforControlSystems/SafetySystemsandengineeringservices - Develop and prepare Control and Safety System Designs - Develop design datasheets and requisitions for instrumentation. This includes instrumentation size and protection methodology calculations and verification checks. - Review and approve supplier documentation for instrumentation, control systems and related infrastructure to ensure compliance with technical specifications. - Give guidance to client, project engineers, other specialist engineers and inspectors on Instrumentation engineering matters. Review instrumentation aspects of OEM package unit supplier’s drawings as requested by the engineer responsible for the equipment. - Attend C&I Equipment FAT & SAT’s with the guidance the Lead C&I Engineer. - Follow up instrumentation construction work on project sites to ensure correct interpretation of designs regarding installation. Resolve any Instrumentation problems arising during commissioning. - Perform C&I infrastructure site assessments. - Keep abreast of development in the instrumentation engineering field and aim for professional engineer or technologist registration. - Perform such duties as may reasonably be assigned by the Lead C&I Engineer.

This role supports the business in providing and assisting with HSEQ matters and is based at our Brisbane office.   Applicants must have full work rights in Australia to be considered for the role.   Responsibilities - Lead investigations into safety incidents, non-conformances or other issues as they arise from time to time and review investigations completed by the team for adequacy - Responsible for the quality assurance schedule to maintain contract compliance - Monitor SCMC performance with the WHS, environmental, water quality, quality,risk management and other business systems - Conduct inspections and audits to measure SCMC performance and compliance with contractual provisions and prepare reports to document findings and improvement recommendations - Develop and maintain the processes and tools to measure and manage compliance - Carry out performance and compliance planning activities with the functional subject matter experts from relevant Seqwater business areas, including WHS, Water Quality and Environment, Risk Management, Incident Management, Security and Performance Reporting - Conduct training and coaching of operational staff undertaking audits, inspections and job observations as required - Facilitate continual improvement within SCMC performance - Flexibility to work across regions and business units Experience - At least 7 years experience in a HSEQ role - Extensive Field Experience (preferably high risk environments) essential - Working knowledge of WHS, Environmental management and Quality requirements for internal and outsourced contracts - Knowledge of drinking water quality management principles and practices - Good communication, interpersonal, negotiation and facilitation skills including the ability to conduct negotiations and influence others - Demonstrated ability to work independently to deliver high quality outcomes within agreed timeframes - Knowledge of relevant legislative and regulatory requirements - Production of high quality performance and data reporting - Communicate and co-operate with external stakeholders including: industrial bodies, academia, market intelligence, relevant conferences, vendors, business acquisition and business development. - Working within contractual requirements and strategic requirements (including business partnering towards a leader lead business)

The primary objective of this role is to take ownership and delivery of the Management of Change process, provide governance and assurance of this process to relevant managers and stakeholders, and to input into the Emerging Asset Risk process.   This is a Brisbane-based, permanent role. At this time, we will only consider applications from Australian citizens or those with the required permit/VISA for this region, in place.    Responsibilities: - Manage and action all simple changes by performing the duties of the MOC Change Coordinator - Administer the simple change process and follow up on any outstanding reviewer, stakeholder and approver actions - Ensure compliance to the procedure for each change management phase, and provide system and process improvement opportunities to the Minor Works Program Coordinator - Provide guidance and support in the development of process documentation including risk and stakeholder registers, ready for start up reviews and lesson learnt registers - Determine the appropriate reviewers, stakeholders and approvers required to review and approve the change - Liaise with internal stakeholders to ensure all elements of the change have been captured i.e drawings, asset information and maintenance requirements - Advise Minor Works Program Coordinator of any process issues that may require management intervention - Consolidate and prepare the Facility Risk Registers for use within the Emerging Asset Risk forums, and attend and contribute at the forums - Monitor and provide governance reporting on the emerging asset risk process to the Asset Portfolio Risk Management Group as well as oversite of action tracking from the Group - Complete all administrative tasks and carry out duties as directed by the Lead – Technical Specialist
