Wood currently has an opportunity for a Senior Electrical Engineer to build our capability and work closely with our client, Enter Engineering, on the Copper Concentrator project in Uzbekistan.   Almalyksky GMK (AGMK) is to build a new copper processing plant (MOF-3) as part of the project "Development of the Yoshlik-1" deposit in Almalyk, Uzbekistan. The processing plant will treat ore from a copper-molybdenum deposit and the annual Run-of-Mine ore to be mined and processed is 60 million metric tons. Wood has been appointed as engineering subcontractor to develop Basic Engineering, Detail Engineering, Procurement support services, and technical assistance during construction.    This position has responsibility to provide the technical interface and coordination between Wood and the EPC appointed Local Design Institute (LDI). This position requires strong technical and project management skills. The candidate shall be comfortable working in a multi-disciplinary environment providing engineering expertise in the mining and minerals industry.   Wood Resilient Environments (RE) is looking for a Principal Consultant – TCFD and ESG to join the team and support the integration and delivery of climate resilience and reporting into built environment projects to create value through project outputs and performance.     The Wood RE business is an established industry leader in the delivery of projects for our clients that create resilience and address climate risks, and this position will have an integral role in supporting the RE climate resilience and ESG Practice.   Wood RE is a leading E&I consultant that provides climate resilience, ESG and TCFD support to global clients and across RE’s seven market sectors:  Government, Industrial/Commercial, Energy, Mining, Transportation, Oil & Gas and Water. Wood has an immediate requirement for a Senior Consultant Engineer to join our Rotating Equipment and Reliability team.  The role is based in Brisbane and reports to the team lead locally.  This role is offered on a full-time permanent staff basis.    At Wood we have a world class engineering capability in the fields of Vibration, Dynamics and Noise (VDN) and our rotating equipment and reliability expertise sits within this wider group. We demonstrate technical excellence in resolving the cause and effect of vibration in rotating equipment and machinery providing engineering solutions for our clients.   We would like to connect with applicants who are enthusiastic about their field, are technically capable and thrive in a customer facing role.  We value great interpersonal communication skills and welcome team engagement and contributions to the wider team experience and collective group growth.  In working in this specialist team you will join other industry experts who are pushing the edge of technological envelope, working to communicate and broaden understanding of key technical challenges.   At this time, we will only consider applications from Australian citizens or those who hold Permanent Residency (PR) Visa.   Responsibilities of the role will include - Provide support, mentoring and technical reviews for colleagues in predictive and preventive maintenance practices - Help solve challenging critical machinery problems using condition based data. Be the ‘go to’ person for our client’s tough technical problems - Perform advanced analysis of steady state and dynamic turbo-machinery data, using online machinery condition monitoring systems including Bently Nevada System 1, ADRE or similar - Perform detailed analysis of balance of plant data using a range of portable systems - Assist in maintaining and developing client relationships, including developing new business opportunities - Assist with investigations, providing technical input for equipment failures and troubleshooting projects, alignments, balancing, ODS (Operational Deflection Shape) and RCA (Root Cause Analysis) - Manage, implement and improve vibration, lubrication and thermography based predictive maintenance programs including on-site data collection, analysis and determination of recommendations for rotating equipment - Execute maintenance strategies and programs for clients whilst seeking opportunities to improve them utilising the latest in data analytics techniques - Identify opportunities to improve client plant reliability, availability and/or performance, collaborating with clients to turn to their advantage - Assist with RCM (Reliability Centred Maintenance) and FMECA (Failure Mode, Effects, and Criticality Analysis)

The activities will include but not be limited to: - Preparation of Instrument Index from P&ID's using SPI Instrument Index Module and / or MS-Excel - Understanding of international standards - I / O List Preparation - Preparation of Data Sheet for various Instruments including sizing calculations - Preparation of Wiring Diagram & loop Drawing, Hook-up (Installation Detail) - Conversant in PDS 3D Modeling to guide designers in preparation of Instrument Location Plan Drawing, Fire & Gas Detection layout, Block Diagram, Cable Schedule, Cable Tray Layout etc. - Development of Level Sketches, other hook up drawings, and estimation of MTOs etc. - Design and detailed engineering for DCS, PLC and F&G Systems (Preferred)

Wood is currently recruiting for a Senior Designer - Architecture with extensive experience in the relevant field.   - Specialist Designer in Architectural Detailing of Industrial Architectural works - Must have worked in AutoCAD / Microstation 2D Drafting - Preference would be given who has worked in any Architectural 3D software in 3D Modelling - Experience in at least one Oil & Gas, Mining or any industrial project will be preferred - Must have sound technical knowledge in Architectural detailing - Responsible to work independently both Technically and using software on the assigned Architectural works - Drafting as per inputs & checking of General Arrangement & Detail Drawings of Architectural works - Report to Lead Civil Engineer and Coordinate with other disciplines in the project - Meeting the project schedules on submissions of Architectural deliverables - Ensuring all deliverables are comply with quality as per AFWIPL / Client specifications & standards - Interpretation of vendor drawings / other discipline drawings for Architectural deliverables requirements
