The position with rotation work bais 28 /28 days .   - Coordinate the preparation of construction work packs for onshore procurement, fabrication, and offshore construction activities in line with rejuvenation campaign schedule requirements. - Schedule the preparation of job cards, construction drawings and documentation, materials requisitioning by liaising with engineering, operations, and support services as required. - Review design engineers' output for completeness and clarity of intent, liaise with discipline engineers / TAs for the development of work orders / packs, major / minor plant changes and repairs. - Maintain an overview of the campaign workpack status in the associated WMS systems and provide progress updates to the integrated planning engineer. - Responsible for the accuracy of job card estimations and obtaining agreement on additional norms requirements. - Support the development of construction aids and lifting designs, sketches and establish all multi - discipline data required to complete the work. - Support the adoption of a fit - for - purpose approach and seek design approval to ensure design intent is achieved. - Plan and manage resources to meet maintenance, BGC and project workpack development as per campaign and project schedules. - Take ownership of campaign BGC & work packing plans, closely tracking daily progress and preparing in advance recovery plans for any delays. - Monitor and highlight in good time any constraints in workpack development, propose and recommend solutions. - Ensure Health & Safety Responsibilities are adhered to and understood, and review Task Risk Assessments and ISSOW PTWs for all workpack scope. - Establish a relationship and liaise with operations focal points to ensure execution methodology is understood and aligned with operating codes. - Liaise with the BGC / Workpack Team Leader to agree schedule for issue of workpack deliverables.

Senior Project Engineer   We are committed to providing the best possible project delivery to our clients across the Life Sciences sector, ensuring that they have well engineered plants capable of performing world leading production and research for the Pharmaceutical and Biotechnology industries.     Wood is recruiting for a Senior Project Engineer to support delivery of engineering capital projects based at our client site in Barnard Castle, County Durham.   This is a site-based, permanent staff position with hybrid working available after an initial period of on-boarding. The expectation is at least 3 days on site with 2 days working from home; once you are established in the role, this can then be reviewed.   Barnard Castle is a key site for the client with a large number of new products coming through development. They manufacture and supply a huge range of different pharmaceuticals and have recently opened a new state of the art aseptic digital facility producing biopharmaceuticals.     The Role The Senior Project Engineer will work within the Capital Projects Team at Barnard Castle. Initially, the primarily role will focus on supporting the client by coordinating and progressing action close out on a number of HAZID/HAZOP actions raised across multiple live projects.   The Senior Project Engineer must be proactive, and have a well-rounded understanding of project engineer delivery with respect to action close out during detailed design and construction phases. It is expected the Senior Project Engineer should be able to guide the client in on approach to safety reviews on new capital projects.   This role will also work closely with a multi-disciplined engineering teams consisting of both Wood and client engineers alongside external designers, equipment vendors, and skilled contractors to deliver projects from Concept, through Scheme (FEED), Detailed Design, and Construction. The role will require you to be flexible in your day to day activities.     Job Duties/Responsibilities : The responsibilities for this role can vary considerably depending on scope and size of project.
