Wood is currently recruiting for a Multi-disciplinary Construction Supervisor with extensive onshore and offshore experience to join the team in Equatorial Guinea on a 10 x 3 rotational basis.   This role will oversee the offshore execution of a wide range of multi-disciplinary work packages. He/she will be responsible for developing the execution plan which will include but not limited to the following: Planning, design, procurement, schedule, cost control, construction, and close out of the scope. The multidisciplinary supervisor is tasked with the review of the Facility change request, engineering design (if applicable), engineering request, work pack, and all relevant procedures. Through an effective use of software such as SAP, Microsoft project and primavera 6, he/she will ensure the appropriate and timely involvement of all functions critical to the success of the execution of the work package. She will expedite timely approvals/decisions, and closure on issues critical to the success of the project by timely engaging with main stakeholders (offshore management). He is expected to champion safety programs in the field and ensure their full enforcement.   The onshore/offshore multidisciplinary construction supervisor will provide consistency of purpose, a dynamic and safe working environment, accountability within the working team, and implementation of work packages.   1. Assess staffing competence and levels and assemble a team based on work complexity and timeline. 2. Review of Asset integrity inspection reports and liaise with welding engineer to develop execution plan based on scope criticality and align with ROMS elements 5 and 7. 3. Review and provide input to engineering design packages as well as work pack. Work across the aisle with planning, engineering, and HES to produce qualitative work packs. 4. Service as the focal point of all Constructability Reviews to assure designs are practical and maintainable for electrical, mechanical and structural remediations projects on primarily offshore platforms with limited support from onshore. 5. Make sure all scope is executed per ROMS elements 5 and 7 guidelines. 6. Develop a readiness checklist plan that meets offshore and onshore mobilization expectations. 7. Responsible for the field constructability review before official approval of work pack. 8. He will be the interface between Onshore/Offshore management aligned to the field execution. Effective and timely communication is required for this position through issuance of reports and presentations as requested. 9. Review asset integrity reports and issue recommendations based on constructability review and structural criticality 10. Ensure field deliverables (lessons learned, as built, project queries) are updated within the activity work pack and archived for future use by liaising with document controls and responsible engineer. 11. At site, this Team Member will be responsible for ensuring scopes during the installation and onwards towards Mechanical Completions of all Electrical and Instrumentation systems. Responsibilities shall include overseeing the works during terminations and testing, together with system testing and acceptance of generated paperwork associated with these discipline scopes.   - Inspect, monitor, and oversee all hook - up phase electrical and instrumentation activities - Ensure positive understanding of project codes, standards, specifications, directly associated with the project - Ensure compliance with requirements of inspection and test plans and work procedures - Work together with other discipline QC Inspectors on quality control surveillance / inspection issues as needed - Interface with construction and commissioning teams to ensure understanding or interpretation of job requirements, be pro - active and guide whenever needed to minimize rework - Inspect and review the condition and documentation of all supplied equipment and their appurtenances and bulk materials; upon arrival at site and / or prior to incorporation into facilities - Attend QC Inspection intervention points as indicated by the respective discipline ITPs - Review and accept ITPs to ensure demonstration of satisfactory mechanical completion - Monitor and inspect field construction activities on a day - to - day basis to ensure the installation is in compliance with the approved drawings, specification, and applicable codes - Ensure adequate QC Inspection is carried out. Recommend and participate in resolution of corrective action and monitor completion of action for identified non - conformances and deficiencies - Support HUC Team in resolving engineering or product deficiencies - Bring observed non - conformances to the attention of the ‘Site Quality Lead’. Ensure that proper action is taken to protect equipment from contamination and mechanical damage - Participate in reviewing / verifying of all records demonstrating either sub - system or system completion towards Mechanical Completion - Verify and accept Mechanical Completion of system Punch Lists.
