This role will be based in client office at London with option for hybrid working.   You will responsible for the coordination of cost reporting and cost control of the Technical team activities and to support production reporting in conjunction with Production Engineer and Production Accountant.    Coordinate the provision of Management Reports in an accurate and timely manner, verifying cost performance and identifying areas of potential budget overrun requiring corrective action.     Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities: - Support daily production reporting in conjunction with Production Engineer and Production Accountant - Support all other production reporting in conjunction with Production Engineer and Production Accountant including also Down Time Analysis and DynaP system update - Responsible for overseeing the coordination and submission of Opex and Capex Budget/Forecast 1,2,3 to endure company deadlines are met - Responsible for the coordination and submission of Business Plan and Strategic Plan - Responsible for the coordination of gap analysis and action plan for budget & forecast revision - Responsible for the alignment of both Operated and Operated by Others Budget/Forecasts and Actuals with BMS Reporting Tool - Responsible for ensuring accuracy of all data feeding into Technical Reporting Systems (CORA software tool) and other HQ systems (LOGIS) - Coordinate the development and analysis of reports to identify opportunities for cost optimisation and tracking of budgeted costs against activities - Coordinate the preparation of Regular Opex and Capex Managements Reports and variance analysis to track department spend vs budget (including updated Outlook) - Support G&A budget/forecast including also overview of Job Order costs - Responsible for the coordination & management of AFE and SIF Processes with support of other departments - Provide cross cover support for Team holidays / sickness - To participate in Emergency Response duties, as required - To ensure full adherence to the Company’s Health, Safety & Environment policies, procedures and standards   Join US! Wood is looking for a Senior QA/QC Inspector to join our IRS team in Aberdeen. This is a full time on site role and no hybrid working is offered.   Objective   To ensure that IRS, deliver a quality service that achieves the requirements of the client and complies with requirements. Provide support to ensure that quality activities are completed satisfactorily and in a timely manner. Assists in the implementation, maintenance, monitoring and reporting on the status of quality management systems and activities, so that resulting actions are delivered effectively, and business risks are mitigated or prevented. Inspect product/material and associated documentation to confirm compliance to Wood, Client or industry specifications/codes and relevant purchase order requirements.   Key responsibilities: - Promote, review and challenge working practices and methods to enhance performance. - Implementation of Quality Management System requirements as directed by their/Lead/Manager. - Implements and reports on internal/ external risk-based audit programme. - Effectively use ATRAC database to record non-conformities and improvement actions. - Assist Quality Manager with quality investigations when required. - Provides input to and participates as required in quality management reporting andreviews - Attend kick off/ bid submission meetings as required to provide quality support and advice according to QA/QC deliverables. - Review of all job cards prior to production commencing to ensure client specification and/or international code requirements are captured within the scope of work and communicated effectively. - Create weld numbering systems for work scopes and produce weld maps for inclusion in MRB. - Populate AESSOP to allow shop floor feedback sheets to be generated. - Ensuring the business has suitably qualified welders to carry out specific work scopes. - Maintain welder qualifications records and welder qualification matrix. - Act as IRS responsible welding Co-ordinator under the auspices of BS EN ISO 3834. - Assist with Quality reviews of Manufacturing record data book Witness / review of testing activities in compliance with Inspection and test plan requirements. - Verification that appropriate approvals are in place prior to commencement of specific works (e.g. weld procedures are approved, welder certification, etc.). - Review and endorsement of quality records raised as an output from fabrication/manufacturing processes. - Generation of NDT requests from AESSOP System. - Generation of inspection and progress reports as required. - Final inspection release and issue of inspection release notes. - Mentor and develop quality resources.
