Wood are currently sourcing offshore Electrical Technicians for ongoing international assignments in Equatorial Guinea, West Africa,   Candidates should have previous offshore experience in a similar role and hold current BOSIET and and preferably COMPEX certification.   Due to the urgency of these requirements preference is for USA nationals or nationals from CEMAC countries who can enter EG without a visa.   This is a rotational position working 5 weeks on /  5 weeks off, 12 hour day / 7 day week.  PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES: - Ensuring the electrical distribution system is maintained and in a safe working condition, operated within the design parameters, and complies with AHEG and WG procedures and legislation - Ensuring all electrical and instrument planned maintenance work is progressed and completed satisfactorily and recorded on the planned maintenance history records - Ensuring the Electrical Isolation Authority is performing isolations as part of the Permit to Work (PTW) SYSTEM - Compilation of accurate reports of any work or incidents affecting instrument or electrical equipment - To plan and organize the work activity of their discipline technicians such that all planned and unplanned work is progressed to a satisfactory completion, in a safe and efficient manner. To this end the use of all available planning tools is vital - Liaison with other maintenance and production personnel to ensure all work is coordinated, and within production considerations - Ensure the personnel under his control maintain a high degree of HS&E awareness - To ensure plant and equipment is fully operational and critically maintained in accordance with procedures. This team delivers all on site manufacturing equipment, covering everything from mixing vessels, CIP systems, filling machines, labelling, assembly robots, packaging and more, and as such it is a multi-functional group which requires engineers with expertise in Automation and Control systems to contribute to these equipment projects. The Role As an Automation Engineer you will play a key role in the selection, specification and installation of new, highly automated equipment. You will work closely with site-based stakeholders to agree the purpose of the project and the necessary requirements. You will contribute to supplier selection and auditing, the set-up, integration and development of the control system, the design and development of the machines, the factory and site acceptance tests, validation, and some high-level care of the equipment throughout its lifecycle. As well as a necessary partnership with production and maintenance, you will need to work closely with IT to ensure the network security of any integrated systems. This role will provide a vast learning experience across an eclectic range of equipment, while working in a team of seasoned engineers. Wood is currently looking for a Design HSE Engineer, with minimum 5 years’ experience and proven experience in conducting/chairing workshops such as HAZID and HAZOP.  The successful candidate will take responsibility for managing Design HSE aspects, studies, and workshops in a wide range of Projects (Refinery, Petrochemical, Pharma, etc.) under coordination of Design HSE Department Manager. Workplace will be Corsico, nearby Milano (Italy), with possibility of short trips abroad, to lead / participate to HAZOPs and / or safety reviews at Client premises.   Responsibilities The role oversees the following objectives: - Coordination of HSE matters in Basic / FEED / EPC contracts, interfacing with colleagues in different working area and with Clients  - Responsibility for project HSE Compliance in the design phase and overall project Technical HSE performances - Interfaces with HSE specialized external Consultants (permitting, specific studies, etc)
