- Set up and operate the appropriate sections of DMS.

- Ensuring engineering and design quality, technical accuracy of drawings, material quantities, specifications, procedures, etc. produced with in the piping disciplines assigned to him
- Execution of assigned work in accordance with applicable contract procedures and standards
- Adherence to Amec Foster Wheeler Engineering Procedure / Work Instruction for Design safety and to ensure the adoption of safe attitude towards engineering design that features affecting the safety and integrity of the project
- Reviewing with the Project Engineering Manager, Area Project Engineers and other team members about all the needs and technical aspects which can affect the schedule of the project
- Preparing, Reviewing, Issuing and follow up of all Piping Deliverables up to the issue for construction
- Approving all Piping deliverables produced with in the Piping team, prior to initial and Construction Release
- Ensure that the 3D model represents satisfactory design practice
- Participate actively in FW internal and Client reviews of 3D Model, Plot Plan, Constructability etc
- Assist Department head when required in preparation of proposals and in presentations to prospective clients
- Providing “Feedback” to the Discipline Head concerning problems arising from application of standard methods and work procedures/instruction/technical practices and updates the same

- Report to the Piping Discipline Head / Assigned project Lead Piping Engineer
- Execute designing and drafting activities following the instructions given by the Area Piping Engineer in accordance with the quality system in force within the Discipline, job requirements, and time schedule
- Develop Plot plan and Equipment layouts under the supervision and following the instructions of Area Piping Engineer according to the established Technical Work Practices
- Develop 2D Piping General Arrangement Drawings under the supervision and following the instructions of Area Piping Engineer according to the established Technical Work Practices
- Develop 3D model based on the study layouts under the supervision and following the instructions of Area Piping Engineer according to the established Technical Work Practices
- Prepare Isometric sketches for all Stress critical lines with the possible support locations and assist the stress engineer to carry out stress analysis
- Assist, Remodel and Update the model based on the Internal, Client reviews, latest Supplier information and Isometric checking comments and maintain the clash free model

- Carry out Stress Calculations and Support Design and preparing material requisitions and technical evaluation of the special support items under the supervision and following the instructions of Lead Stress and Support Engineer and in accordance with the applicable Technical Work Practices
- Carry out site survey activities at field to assist the designer to develop 2D Piping general Arrangement Drawings and Tie-in isometric drawings for critical lines
- Brown field experience
- Prepare the Stress Critical Line List
- Carry out stress analysis for all critical lines and check the support design till Isometric stage
- Check the Stress calculations prepared by other Stress Engineers and following the applicable work instructions
- Check the pipe support marked up on piping construction drawings by the Piping Designer for all non-critical lines
- Based on the Stress analysis provide load data for all critical lines to Area Engineer, the same will be forwarded to Equipment vendors and Civil / Structural
