Wood has an opportunity for a Piping Supervisor role in in a module fabrication contract to be executed in a module fabrication yard located in Philippines (approx. 100 km from Manila).   Responsibilities - Ensure that all Piping construction contractors’ supervision and manpower are instructed in and comply with all aspects of Health, Safety, Environment and Security (HSES) policy, site regulations, permit to work procedures and instructions and Client requirements - Ensure that Piping construction contractors working within the discipline adhere strictly to the latest Approved for Construction (AFC) project drawings, Specifications, ITP’s, Procedures and Site Instructions - Responsible for the HSES, and quality aspects of the work within assigned areas and for ensuring construction contractors complete their work in accordance with the project schedule - Review and monitor the availability of drawings, specifications, job instructions, material deliveries and tools applicable to the particular discipline and area of work - In conjunction with the contractors’ supervision, planning engineers, and the Construction Engineer, develop detailed daily and weekly work plans in accordance with the overall planning schedule - Inform the Discipline Superintendent on specific areas where the programme needs to be adjusted in accordance with site conditions and material deliveries - Responsible for monitoring the discipline and timekeeping of contractors’ staff and labour in a defined work area, identifying any disciplinary action required, and informing the relevant Discipline Superintendent - Maintain close liaison with other discipline supervisors working in the area in order to coordinate all classes or work in the area; - Make sure that materials used are in accordance with project technical documents and applicable codes and specifications. - Check the efficient productivity of Subcontractors labour with regards to the quality and quantity (jointly with project control). - Monitor Subcontractor execution of the work in order to maintain the program. - Assure that all works are carried out on schedule, otherwise check deficiency and refer to Construction Manager, in order to promptly define and implement corrective actions that permit to comply with the schedule. - Verify and discuss with Construction Manager and Field Project Engineer eventual modification or any difference raised on the activity relevant to previous and following points and cooperate with them to issue Sketches Layout (SKL) for the relevant modification, when works must be executed in different way as indicated on drawings.(If cost or schedule impacts arise, it is mandatory to get approval from Construction Manager). - Record any modification after approval and in cooperation with Construction Manager inform the Subcontract Administrator if involving contractual changing. - Prepare and fill the Request of Work Execution (R.W.E.) form for any extra work out of contract or for modification, for further approval by other functions, before the execution of the work itself, as per procedure by Subcontracting Department. - Make sure Subcontractors observe safety procedures and job site activity regulations and oblige them to eliminate any dangerous situation. Make safety walks minimum once a day to keep Safety Superintendent informed about unsafe work procedures. - Make sure that "Work Permits" are obtained before start any work when required. - Check that Subcontractor is working on the base of last edition of all drawings and other technical documents (jointly with QA/QC leader). - Check by the "Manpower presence report" the quantity of Subcontractor's manpower present in site (jointly with Subcontracting Manager). - Check, sign and collect all Subcontractor Time Sheets when the work is reimbursed on hourly basis. - Prepare/check Subcontractor's monthly/weekly progress of work and transmit relevant data to Project Control. - Check the execution of the works, which must be in accordance with technical documentation, Wood & Subcontractor Quality Plan, work progress, applicable codes and rules, authorizing consequently the activity of accounting for the installed quantities. Take action to correct any deficiency. - Fill the daily log record book.

Contributes to setting project evaluation parameters - Negotiates changes to project scope or specification with the customer. Follows Change Management process to identify and approve modifications to scope, cost, schedule and quality - Pursue and develop opportunities for innovation, such as digitalisation and technology use, work share and high value engineering centres, to bring value to Wood and customer - Establishes project procedures and leads production of project execution plan including the scope of work, deliverables list, master schedule, budget, org charts, risk register etc - Regularly reports project progress to senior management and / or the customer - Responsible for delivery of agreed schedule and financial performance, proactively intervening to avoid slippage - Ensures competence of project team members to carry out assigned work - Leads ongoing focus on risk identification and mitigation during project execution - Responsible for the project HSSE leadership, ensures a program of initiatives and auditing schedule are established and that HSSE and quality management issues are proactively addressed - Guides and directs a multidiscipline project team, which may include external specialists and involve staff from multiple offices and sites - Responsible for ensuring project team members are competent to carry out assigned duties - Promotes and sets up performance improvement culture and actions on complex projects and into their supply chains - Facilitates the set up of information management systems / applications as applicable to suit various life phases of projects and manage information management project team - Participate in assurance activities and peer reviews  Leadership  - Is a champion and role model for ethical behaviour and compliance with applicable laws and policies - Oversees proposals and call-offs (may be individual projects) within delegation of authority, ensuring compliance with contracting policy and standards of ethical conduct - Coaches, mentors and empowers others to make decisions within established parameters

Wood is currently recruiting for a Senior Accountant on a full time, permanent basis.   This role offers flexible, hybrid working.   Job Objective:   To ensure accurate accounting, reconciliation and reporting of key financial data to enable the business to monitor performance, drive improvement, collect cash and ensure governance across a collection of key client contracts.     Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities: - Directly responsible for month end close activities in Oracle system to ensure results are accurately reported and analysed for a selection of contracts. This includes calculation of accruals, unbilled and unearned entries as required in compliance with Wood corporate deadlines, technical accounting standards, and in accordance with company procedures for reconciliations and balance sheet controls - Preparation of monthly management accounts covering P&L to Gross Margin level including reimbursable labour, recovered in rate costs, lump sums, procurement, plant & equipment, plus other reimbursable, non-reimbursable and contract specific items - Provision of clear and concise variance analysis of actual monthly results compared to budget/forecast to help support contract management to understand and act upon financial results - Balance sheet responsibility for unbilled, unearned, accounts receivable and accruals to ensure accurate reporting, aging and improvement actions - Days Sales Outstanding (DSO) - reporting, analysis and supporting improvement - Provision of financial information as required by the business including Project Governance Reporting, HSE manhours and others as required - Presentation of monthly results to Contract Manager / Finance Business Partner - Undertake control checks on invoices produced by DFSS billing in conjunction with commercial team ahead of submission to client and provide guidance to DFSS billing team on any non-routine invoicing requirements that occur i.e changes in workforce terms in conditions, contract T&Cs amendment; employee legislation changes that impact charge rates - Preparation and analysis of annual Budget, Mid-Year Forecast and monthly Rolling Forecasts for collection of contracts in conjunction with Contract/Delivery Managers and Commercial teams for minimum rolling 12 months - Provide clear and concise variance analysis on forecasts, tracking reasons for movement in Revenue / Gross Margin compared to budget/latest forecast.
