Wood PLC is looking for a Senior HVAC Engineer to join the Machinery and Package engineering department in Milan Office.   Responsibilities: - Design of HVAC system(s) including the following activities: - Define the HVAC system such as buildings characteristics, external ambient and site conditions data - Calculation of thermal loads, ventilation air rates and sizing of HVAC equipment. - Selection of main equipment and system components. - Preparation of equipment data sheets and list of bulk materials. - Duct sizing and preparation of draft layout plans and sections, coordinating a clash free design. - Preparation of the HVAC air flow diagrams or PIDs. - Coordination with draftsman for the preparation of the layout and the PIDs. - Preparation of General Mechanical Specification and/or of Material Requisition(s) for HVAC systems to enable a specialized Contractor to perform detailed process and mechanical design, supply and erection of the entire system(s) or - Preparation of equipment / package material requisitions, as well as mechanical data sheets for enquiry to purchase the single equipment independently - Detailed review of Vendors / Contractor's bids for tabulation and conditioning - Review and comment Vendors / Contractor drawings and documents for consistency with the design.
