Integrates new data into existing files as required. • Maintains an inventory of files and documentations readily available for the professional staff of the subsurface department. • Provides up to date maps for the subsurface members as requested carrying out contouring and gridding activities as well as data loading. • Works with specialist data loading techniques required with seismic files and other data uploads to ensure integration of information onto the correct database files as directed. • Creates well correlation panels as required. • File up daily trackers and end of the month run the monthly allocation • Undertakes data loading, Quality control and log analysis activities as directed by subsurface department. • Regularly store and update all surveillance data and documentation into the database. • Maintains system backups to ensure no loss of data. • Act as Web focal point for the Subsurface Department. • Follows all safety, fire health and environmental policies of the Company at all times. • Undertakes the mentoring of EG nationals as directed by Management. • Undertakes similar or related IT duties as requested by the Management of the Company. • Organize, compile & transmit all external and internal presentation data pack for TCM • Maintain petrophysical database and well spreadsheets in line with production and completion updates

The position is to work in Equatorial Guinea.   Please note this position is only open to Equatorial Guinea nationals.   The Senior Geologist is responsible for providing geoscience support for all activities of the operating company in the areas of production optimization, workovers and drilling. The position is a combination of the Production, Operations and Development Geologist roles. The SG acts as a focal point between the subsidiary and the head office. He will assure data sharing, provide updates on the relevant operations in country and ensure that the Subsurface Team in country is aware and in line with the projects undertaken at the head office. Essential part of the role is a daily management and mentoring of the local Geoscience team composed of several, less experienced professionals. Principal Responsibilities: • Work within a multidiscipline Subsurface, Drilling and Operations team to optimise production • Assist with the development of conceptual appraisal and development plans for discovered fields • Generate subsurface geological maps, well logs, cross-sections, volumetric calculations, and other geological tools to aid with reservoir production and well performance management • Review, update and build 3D geo-cellular models (preferably in Petrel), using a variety of subsurface data (e.g. reservoir pressures, well logs, reflection seismic, various impedance volumes, 4D seismic, oil/gas/water production data) • Integrate geological, RE and PE data to locate the original and remaining reserves Create HCPV and sweep maps. Optimise completion targets for both new wells and workover candidates. The processing plant will treat ore from a copper-molybdenum deposit and the annual Run-of-Mine ore to be mined and processed is 60 million metric tons. Wood has been appointed as engineering subcontractor to provide Detailed Engineering, Procurement support services, and Technical field assistance during construction.    This position has responsibility to provide the technical interface and coordination between Wood, the client and the EPC appointed Local Design Institute (LDI). This position requires strong technical and project coordination skills.
