As a result of this, the Quality Management Function is expanding and evolving to manage the challenges of regional projects that continue to pose challenges in offering our services through a global talent pool.   Job Description:  - Commitment to and promotion of Wood’s values and ensuring the realization of Company and project health, safety, environmental, quality and ethics, systems, policies, and procedures - Reporting to the Quality Control Manager: the main functions of the role will be to ensure received materials and equipment is maintained in a demonstrable and recordable manner in line with manufacturers recommendations and or Industry best practices - Take ownership of and develop the preservation philosophy and strategy to meet the Rejuvenation Contract needs - Implement and maintain a demonstrable system (data base) that records compliance to manufacturers recommendation and or industry best practice - Develop a suite of preservation check lists, routines, and procedures consistent with the preservation philosophy and strategy - Interrogate and evaluate supplier recommendation concerning the preservation of supplied materials and equipment, ensuring that appropriate requirements are ascertained in a timely manner, thus allowing suitable storage to be secured, preservation materials procured and delivered plus where required engagement of specialist third party service providers - Where specialist third party service providers are required, develop appropriate Scope of Work to facilitate the establishment of a supportive Subcontract - Support Package Engineers in the review of supplier documentation that relates to preservation requirements - Liaise closely with Rejuvenation Contract Warehouse Manager to advise, monitor, and ensure that preservation requirements are being maintained in line with preservation philosophy and strategy - Mentor team members as required and directed - Conduct aligned duties as directed by Quality Assurance and Quality Control Managers Personal Requirements: - A demonstrable commitment to safety in the workplace; leading by example - Demonstrable knowledge of Oil & Gas industry materials and equipment and the preservation of same, e.g. mechanical, and electrical equipment, instrumentation, piping materials - Possess a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience - Attention to detail, commitment to a “Right - First - Time” ethos - Good coordination, interpersonal skills - Good written skills, ability to present data in a clear and concise manner - Self - motivating, well organized, resourceful, and proactive - Flexible approach and able to work under pressure with a can - do attitude and a commitment to meeting and maintaining compliance Competence: - Discipline degree preferred but demonstrable experience, e.g. mechanical, E&I technician etc. is acceptable - Computer literate in MS Word, XL, and MS Power point
