Key Duties: - Awareness, understanding and compliance with the Massy Wood’s Business Policies and Procedures. - Awareness, understanding and delivery of Contractual Obligations and Key Performance Indicators set out in the BP EPC Service Contract. - Set direction, priorities and co-ordinate the management of all interfaces required to deliver a complete Project Delivery service to the Client, including HSSE, Engineering, Procurement, Construction and third Party Services. - Leads in the development and performance management of all aspects associated with the various WBS Scopes of Work from inception through to completion and commercial closeout. - Leads the weekly Massy Wood/Client Project Meeting ensuring that Power BI reports and Microsoft Team’s Action Trackers are updated weekly. - Manage the Project Risk Register ensuring that all actions are driven to closure and updated on the Project Risk Register. - Development, accuracy and continuous performance management of baseline schedules, progress measurement and reporting for the various WBS Scopes of Work, ensuring delivery of key contract KPI milestones which have an impact on project/business profitability. - Development, accuracy and performance management of the estimates, expenditure, forecasts and reporting for the various Project Scopes of Work.  - Escalate issues that require Intervention in a timely manner demonstrating that a proactive approach was adopted to exploring possible ways of finding a solution. - Takes personal responsibility for promoting and supporting continuous improvement activities within all aspects of the business. - Actively seeks to develop and maintain business relationships based on open and honest communication underpinned by reliable proactive performance, expectation management and earned respect. - Proactively facilitate the resolution of cross discipline technical issues. - Motivates and develops a high performing team with a ‘be safe’ and ‘mistake free’ culture and a drive for continuous improvement. - Proactively drives project technical and commercial closeout so that new work can be brought into the Portfolio. - Work alongside other Project Delivery Leads to ensure the overall Portfolio of Projects are delivered in accordance with the Contract Key Performance Indicators. - Accountable for the completion of Massy Wood’s business-related activities that maintains a sustainable position in the industry for business continuity. - As opportunities arise lead in the development of technical proposals in support of bids for new business. - Knowledge of and adherence to Massy Wood’s and project specific Project Management Systems and Procedures relevant to the role. - Develop and deliver upon Four (4) Projects Success Stories clearly demonstrating the value created by Massy Wood’s EPC delivery and the associated savings. - Encourage and Motivate all project personnel to identify at least twelve (12) value creation/cost savings ideas, clearly documenting the savings as part of the EPC Contract’s Cost Efficiency Plan (CEP). - Awareness and understanding of the business drivers within the Massy Wood’s / client relationship and how these can be influenced. - Ensure that Accruals, Purchase Order coverage, Unbilled Revenue, Project Closeout, Project Profitability and other Commercial Risks are continuously monitored and mitigated to safeguard both Massy Wood’s and the client’s business objectives. - Ensure that Timesheets are completed and approved in accordance with the weekly timeline. - Ensure that Project VOWDs are completed and reviewed on time.

Wood is currently recruiting for a Procurement Manager to join our team to be based in Baku Azerbaijan with the period of about 12 months. In this role you will be assigned to control as part of the PMC (integrated) team (IPMT) the Procurement / Materials Management function of the EPC Contractors. Ensures Company's commercial interest is maintained during the execution of the Contract. Monitors and covers EPC Contractor's compliance with the contract at all times.   Responsibilities: - Control and comment all Procurement / Materials Management activities for the assigned EPC Work Package - Review EPC Contractors' Procurement / Materials Management Plans and material responsibility matrix for the Work Package - Ensure that the appropriate material management systems are implemented - Ensure Work Package - specific material management procedures and requirements (including Material Control and Planning and Supplier Quality Surveillance) are complied with - Interact with the EPC Contracts Manager, EPC Project Manager, Discipline Leads and Company to meet Project objectives through alignment sessions, to ensure effective cross ­ discipline communication - Responsible to review and recommend submission for any changes affecting materials on the EPC Work Package - Provide any mentoring to the Procurement / Materials Management Team, and unify the team to ensure it is moving in a common direction, consistent with the overall Project objectives - Ensure effective cross - discipline communications, and address and track the needs, requirements and issues for the EPC Work Package - Ensure that Contract requirements are implemented into Project Procurement / Materials Management plans and procedures - Review  EPC  Contractor's  material  control  plans  and  procedures,  and  Material  Take - Off schedules - Review EPC Contractor's review Project expediting plans and strategies, which support Project schedule objectives - Review EPC Contractors' SQS inspection plans - Review EPC Contractor's Procurement / Materials Management procedures and sourcing strategies - Review Project logistics plans and strategies as may be prepared by the Logistics Manager - Review  field  material  management  plans  and  procedures,  including  site  material  control, warehousing and surplus disposition as prepared by EPC Contractor, with the Work Package Construction Manager - Ensure that appropriate strategies are developed, Project objectives are achieved, potential issues are identified and corrective actions are completed - Interface with Engineering on the topics of Vendor List, change management, expediting of vendor data and prompt return of same - Prepare weekly and monthly Procurement / Materials Management progress reports and provide input into Project reports

The assignment will involve 12 months in a PMC role, and you will be responsible for policing engineering design deliverables by Contractor and by Vendors, and guiding Owner on technical issues. The person will be part of a team of representatives of all Engineering Disciplines.   The successful candidate should have a proven track record of working on EPC projects for Oil & Gas facilities, especially refineries, and display good overall knowledge of Instrumentation & Automation Engineering.
