Wood is seeking applications from Senior Pipeline Engineer to strengthen our team in Dubai.   This is a Home Office position based in Dubai, but it may involve occasional visits to the Client offices and/or site in Iraq. Normal working time will be 48 hours per week.   Contributing to delivery of Engineering excellence through: - Executing assigned scopes of work. - Supporting and supervising task delegation to team. Subject Matter Expertise: - Technically competent in own discipline and actively maintains own competence according to standards and pursues continuous professional development. - Preparation and checking of Pipeline stress analysis and its report using CAESAR II and AUTO Pipe. - Familiar with design and construction metallic and non-metallic pipeline designs and its respective international codes. - Preparation and checking of FEED and Detailed design Pipeline scopes and related deliverables - Preparation and checking of Pipeline mechanical calculations for metallic and nonmetallic pipeline systems - Preparation and checking of Pipeline mechanical calculations for metallic and nonmetallic pipeline systems - Preparation and checking of Pipeline speciality Items specifications, data sheets, Material requisitions and TBEs (i.e. Scrapper launcher and receiver, barred tee, Line pipe, scraper signaller, induction bends, full bore ball and through conduit gate and check valves, isolating joint, pipeline flanged, fittings, chemical injection quills, Corrosion coupons, etc.) - Preparation and checking of Pipeline Construction specifications, External coating and FJC, and SOW for construction. - Preparation and checking of Pipeline survey Scope of work - Preparation and checking of Pipeline Schematic diagrams - Preparation and checking of Pipeline Crossing matrix - Preparation and checking of Pipeline Material take off and material specifications - Familiar with Scrapers station, BVS and associated piping design - Able to manage vendor documents for speciality items like Scrapper launcher and receiver, barred tee, Line pipe, scraper signaller (intrusive and non-intrusive), induction bends, full bore ball and through conduit gate and check valves, isolating joint, pipeline flanged, fittings, chemical injection quills, Corrosion coupons, etc. - Familiar with pipeline related technical reports like route selection, valve station location selections, etc. - Provide discipline support to the business. - Ensure self-awareness of relevant regulatory framework, legislation changes, initiatives and industry technology developments and promote to direct reports. - Provide discipline input to scope definition and execution. General: - Deputising for Lead as required. - Supporting and supervising tasks delegated to direct reports. - Executing assigned personal objectives. - Management of third-party suppliers in the execution of Engineering delivery. - Carry out survey and answer site queries. - Review and check the work of design team. - Assist in the preparation of CTR's and man-hour estimates. - Attend meetings as and when required. - Assist procurement and project engineering personnel in the procurement of equipment and materials. - Liaise with other disciplines on design, construction, fabrication and commissioning issues. Develop P10, P50, P90 estimates. - Facilitate reviews and assurance of cost estimates. Benchmark against historical performance, industry norms and established KPIs. - Help the project team to fully understand the risk/cost/schedule trade-offs so that they can make better informed business and commercial decisions. - To prepare Life Cycle Costs estimates in close co-ordination with the operation & maintenance department. - Review scope change requests for impact on total installed cost. - Work with Planning & Cost Engineers to ensure alignment of planning, cost estimating and cost control. - Be able to acquire initial information on Market Intelligence and perform benchmarking.

Wood is currently looking to appoint Construction Superintendent (Static Equipment and pipeline) for the ADNOC Gas Processing – Pipeline Portfolio Project to be based at site in UAE on residential basis working 60hrs / week.   The Construction Superintendent shall report to the Construction Manager and have overall responsible for a particular area of the worksite, although from time to time he shall assist in other areas of work when required. The Construction Superintendent will stand-in for the Construction Manager when they are absent from site. He will ensure the Construction Supervisors, that are assigned duties on specific areas/units, are aligned both internally within IPMT and externally with the Contractor to progress and support site activities.   The Construction Superintendent shall have multi-discipline capabilities with focus on Static equipment and pipeline. The Construction Superintendent shall routinely interface with the Contractor’s Construction Manager. Key responsibilities are listed below - Communicate the Project safety standards, rules and regulations as captured in the PMC and EPC Contractor’s HSSE plans and procedures to PMC and EPC Contractor personnel - Monitor and enforce the adherence to the safety standards, rules and regulations - Maintain and enforce housekeeping and hygiene standards inside the construction areas including offices, canteens, restrooms and change rooms - Ensure construction is executed in accordance with applicable specifications, drawings and standards with special emphasis on revision control - Participate in regular on-site EPC Contractor progress meetings, actively participate in interface coordination meetings and attend other project meetings as required - Ensure work and quality related inspections are carried out in accordance with the PMC Quality Management System (QMS) and approved Inspection and Test Plans - Ensure the results of quality inspections and non-conformances are registered and properly documented, remedial actions are defined, effectively implemented and closed out - Review the EPC Contractors’ progress and productivity measurement reports and advising the Construction Manager on trends or occurrences with a possible negative impact - Ensure instructions for approved scope changes are issued, processed and efficiently implemented - Coordinate Pre-Commissioning and Commissioning activities with the PMC Commissioning staff and EPC Contractor, provide input into the Commissioning Program - Give input for the monthly construction progress report and other project reporting requirements - Review the EPC Contractor submitted look-ahead schedules and advises the Construction Manager on activities start / finish deviations from the construction planning with a possible negative impact

Wood is currently looking to recruit PMC Electrical Engineer to join the client team on ADNOC Gas processing - Ruwais Sulphur Handling Terminal project. Successful candidate would responsible for below duties and responsibilities; - Advise PMC core management on issues surrounding future appointments of electrical personnel - Ensure that all PMC Electrical Engineers under his / her supervision work to the project procedures, specifications and standards, good engineering practices and techniques, and any project-specific requirements - Review / Validate detailed design and Engineering Deliverables - Supervise the day to day engineering interfaces between PMC core engineering group, Project Managers and the engineering teams assigned to the EPC package – includes interaction with all other specialist disciplines as required - Participate in Hazard and Operability (HAZOP), Safety Integrity Level (SIL), Project Health, Safety and Environment Review (PHSER) exercises for the EPC projects during detailed engineering Participation in design review, 3D Model Reviews, Value Engineering, Risk Management workshops, constructability Reviews, PHSERs , IPR etc. - Input into engineering procedures and work practices as appropriate, in conjunction with Core Electrical Lead - Carryout Technical Evaluation of Bids, Issue Bid Technical Clarifications, Technical Evaluation Reports and Recommendations - Develop close working relationships between all engineering group members, Project Managers / projects team and EPC staff to ensure a consistent approach and effective resolution of issues - Develop a good team spirit within assigned PMC personnel and encourage team working with the Contractor and other customer groups

Successful candidate would responsible for below duties and responsibilities; - Manage the day to day interfacing between assigned projects of the Project Engineers and the disciplines of Process, Piping, Civil / Structural, E&I and Mechanical together with the PMC Construction Team - Identify areas of concern with respect to progress of assigned project, recommend the corrective actions wherever required and execute when directed by the client - Lead, conduct and participate in value engineering workshops for optimizing scope and design - Organize and participate in Hazard and Operability (HAZOP), Safety Integrity Level (SIL), Project Health, Safety and Environment Review (PHSER) and EIA and HSE exercises for the assigned projects during FEED and detailed design to implement the recommendation of such exercises upon client approval - Manage the control of all engineering systems and hardware - Participate in key client reviews and meetings as required - Participate in Project Management Plan reviews - Provide notification of any potential commercial risk or opportunity to the Project Director / Manager for further action - Develop a good team spirit within assigned PMC personnel and encourage team working with the Contractor and client

Successful candidate must be able to perform the below details ; - Review EPC Contractors' proposals for vendors and subcontractor - Review contract management and planning activities of the EPC Work Package with Engineering, Project Controls and Construction - Review and approve EPC Contractors' RFPs / RFQs in accordance with contract - Ensure that goods and services procured by EPC Contractor meet local regulations and content requirements relative to scope of work, quality and schedule - Organize meetings with EPC Contractor, Company and authorities (as needed) for negotiating and resolving commercial, technical and contract completion issues - Handle effective and timely distribution of reports and pertinent commercial information to and from EPC Contractor in accordance with project instructions - Schedule turnover meetings with Site Personnel, where required - Check timesheets for contract conformance (rates, backup and extensions) - Review EPC Contractors' invoices and prepare Progress Payment Certificates with Cost Control - Review EPC Contractors' costs, forecasts and requests for extras - Issue for approval and post Substantial Performance documents - Issue Contract Close - Out documentation such as Contract Close - Out Change Order, Certificate of Final Completion and Waiver of Lien - Participate in contract cost review meetings and regular project progress and assist with preparation of monthly contracts and project progress reports - Carryout Technical Evaluation of Bids, Issue Bid Technical Clarifications, Technical Evaluation Reports and Recommendations

Wood is looking for a Supply Chain Manager to strengthen our team in Dubai. - Manages, directs and supports others engaged in the full range of supply chain activities, while ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures, and relevant reporting requirements. - Accountable for the successful set up and delivery of all project supply chain processes procedures and activities. - Prepare and issue the project specific procurement execution plan and/or contracting strategy, and contract schedule in line with project scope including the application and association of computerised systems e.g. Oracle, AMUSE, Materia. - Establish and manage the project / procurement status report (PSR) in line with project / client required on site dates and current / estimate lead times, notifying any delays to the project manager. - Establish and chair regular PSR meetings with client, procurement, engineering and/or project management personnel to ensure dates for pre-order deliverables are being maintained. - Establishes priorities, assigns workloads and reviews the more difficult and complex aspects of the supply chain workload. - Ensure that client main contract, terms and conditions, schedules, change control procedures and commercial frameworks are embedded in the supply chain activities for the project - Monitoring of project / client approved supplier registers, supplier selection and performance management, and ensure corrective actions are taken where required. - Ensure that all statutory and legal requirements and procedures are complied with and all actions are fully auditable. - Ensures that supply chain team have a clear understanding of their role, supply chain processes and procedures and provides guidance, direction and support. - Promote safe working practices and demonstrate safety leadership at all times. - Act as a role model and champion Woods vision, values and behaviours. - Act as a role model to embed the Financial Management Framework across the business - Implement robust performance management and development plans for the team, ensuring any gaps are addressed and development and succession planning is managed effectively - Delivery against internal and external in year savings targets as per business plan.
